Krystal Dawn

Krystal Dawn

I have found my forever home!!! When I first met Anthony and Niki, it was love at first sight, and they promise they are going to spoil me rotten ( I like the sound of that!)

My foster family was sad to see me go, because I am just that lovable and awesome.

I am so ready for a new life. That’s why I chose a very special middle name for myself. I am Krystal Dawn. This is the dawn of a new life for me. No more having babies and no more doing what everybody else says.

It is the dawn of a new era in my life: a time to be loved and pampered the way I was meant to be. I am only 4 years old so I have plenty of time to wag my nub and strut my stuff. At only 43 pounds, some say I could use just a little more meat on my bones. Hey, that’s OK by me! More to eat means more of me to love.

I will hang out at the vet clinic for a while to rest and get everything checked out by Dr. Larsen. I’ll have a little surgery while I am here. After all, it is the dawn of a new life and I might as well look the part. Check you later—I hear the dinner bell ringing.

7/9/20 Update:  I have been in my foster home only a few days, but I am already feeling so much better. I am loving it here! My favorite place to be is as close to my foster mom as possible! I have heard her mention “personal space” a couple times… not sure what that means, but I can’t seem to get enough of the affection!

Also, I am getting a good workout from the resident Frenchie named Winston. He has lots of energy, but I am trying to keep up.

7/14/20 Update: It’s been 9 days here at Casa Hutchinson, and I am fitting in pretty darn well.

I started eating all my food, and I come inside through the doggy door, but I’m not quite ready to use it going out.
I am such a good dog… only occasionally am I ornery, like when I see my foster mom’s flip flops on the floor. I steal one and start a tug of war party with foster fur brother Winston.
My fave place is on the couch, and next to my foster mom anywhere she is… I gotta have at least one body part touching her.  Have a good week, all!

7/29/20 Update:  I’m enjoying life, and getting to BE a puppy again, instead of having puppies! My buddy and I wake up all energized. We love to chase the ball down the hall, and see who can get it first. So much fun!

I am getting more and more accustomed to using the doggy door. I am going out AND coming in through it now.
I like to be near my foster mom as much as possible. And when she is busy in the kitchen, I lay my head on the couch armrest and watch her. Oh, can’t forget to mention…. I absolutely LOVE getting chest rubs.  Life is good!
