When we picked up Lady Lilly (now just Lilly) from boarding we had full expectation she would be just an adorable foster like the guys we’d had before her. It didn’t take us long to realize that Lilly had a special place in our hearts.
She snuggled close to her Dad at bedtime, jumped into her Mom’s lap to read, bonded easily with her other furry brother and sister. Even visiting human relatives were fascinated by her presence. She fits in perfectly with our merry band. Yes, please. She will now be ours forever!
Lady Lilly didn’t see this change coming, but she’s embracing it with grace. Having been rehomed before, she’s no stranger to change. She travels light and loves car rides, making her the perfect travel companion!
Lady Lilly’s family only wanted the best for her, but with the rising costs of her medications for skin care, vaccinations, and her spay procedure, they found it increasingly difficult to keep up with the expenses.
After much thought, and with a lot of love and some tearful goodbyes, they made the decision to bring her into rescue. Now, Lady Lilly is here with a positive attitude, a beautiful smile, and hope for a family who will appreciate this seasoned lady and welcome her into their home.
At 6 years old, Lady Lilly is ready to find the loving home she deserves.
1/30/25 Update: We’re lucky to be hosting Lady Lilly in our home—she brings so much joy and charm to our home. She fits right in with our quirky crew, effortlessly adding sweetness and playfulness to the mix.
Lady Lilly is as comfortable in her kennel as she is snuggling with her equally loving foster parents in bed. She’s an amazing playmate for her 7-year-old Bulldog sister and 2-year-old brother, and watching her and Pippa chase poor Tobey around the backyard is absolutely hilarious.
Lady Lilly’s morning routine is pretty laid-back—she either sleeps in until her humans wake up or settles in for a nap in her favorite recliner while catching a football game. Mealtime is a breeze with her; she eats politely and never shows any territorial behavior—just a calm, content girl enjoying her incredible buffet. She adores the toy box, and watching her search for the perfect toy is pure cuteness overload.
In every way, Lady Lilly is an amazing addition to our foster family, even if only for a short time. There’s truly nothing about her that isn’t perfect, and she’d make a wonderful addition to any family. She’s the definition of sweetness and balance—just an absolute joy!
