The lovely Laney Amigo and her sister Lori Amigo have been reunited and adopted as a pair by a former Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue adoptive family. These beautiful girls hit the Bulldog jackpot!
Their forever family is a girls’ girl kind of place. The sisters will live in Bulldog heaven with a mom, a grandmom, a skin sister and two fur sisters. Let’s hear it for the girls!
This wonderful family had a Bulldog who looked just like Laney. They have adopted sisters in the past and know how strong that bond is. That’s why they wanted to be the family who could bring both Laney and Lori into their home.
We are so grateful for this special family. They are a match from above for two girls who came into rescue very scared last October. Laney and Lori have blossomed so much in rescue over the past months and we can’t wait to see how they flourish in their forever home.
Bulldog friends it is me Laney, Amigo #3. And by far the one with the most personality.
The one that they tried to do is make me sit with a cocker spaniel with long brown hair. There was NO way. She kept giving me “the eye.” You know the eye like she was looking for a best friend. I told her to stay with the likes of her own and leave us bulldogs alone but she must have had that long fur in her ears because she would not listen at all! More than once I told her to stop staring at me.
As soon as I saw Dr. Larsen, she said, “let’s see how much you weight?” Of all the things to ask me! She was concerned with my weight. Dr. Larsen told me I did not smell like roses, and I might think of bathing. Well, I had thought of bathing but I never had a bath before. So, a Spa Day for me to.
My sister Lori and I are 5 years old. We have always been together , but now we are going to try it apart. Up on a sofa, enjoying the life of no babies, just car rides and Birthday cakes. So, remember me, Laney, cute as can be.
10/19/23 Update: Say hello to the most beautiful girl in the world: Laney Amigo. This sweetheart is only 5 years old and recently came to into rescue after retiring from making babies. She is looking for someone to enjoy her life with and is as sweet as they come. Who’s ready for sweet Laney Amigo?

12/21/23 Update: This beautiful blonde girl is very thankful for LSBCR this Christmas! She came to us pretty darn scared, not wanting to leave the safety of her crate for much. Men in particular scare her. Since we’ve had her, she has really blossomed. Lulu, as we like to call her, does not have a mean bone in her body. She is most comfortable around Foster Mom. Lulu would do best in a calm household without a lot of people or activity. She came to rescue connected at the hip with her sister Lori Lou Amigo and is very happy to be by her foster sister Marge’s side. She is a lover not a fighter and is ready to find her loving furever family.
