7/26/26 AWESOME ADOPTION ALERT! From the foster pops: Remember sweet Legacy? She’s been adopted and sent us the most beautiful letter about her new life as Junebug (lovingly called Junie B)!
After a wonderful stay with a loving foster family and her fur-siblings, Junie B went on a special car ride that changed her life forever.
She met a new family with two young kids, and the connection was instant. A few days later, they surprised her at the park to take her to her next home!
Junie B’s update from her first few days at home:
🐆 Found her absolute favorite spot: a fancy cheetah chair!
🛀 Pampered with a warm bath and a soothing coconut oil rub.
🐕 Enjoying several daily walks (her absolute favorite activity).
💖 Officially “besties for life” with her new human siblings!
Junebug shared: “My official ‘legal’ name is Junebug… I am so thankful for all the blessings I now have in my life (peace, security, love, being spoiled… basically all the things a beauty queen like myself deserves).”
Thank you so much to our incredible fosters, volunteers and donors for making happy endings like Junie B’s possible.

6/7/26 INTRODUCTION ~ Please welcome Legacy to our rescue family.
Legacy comes with an impressive resume. She’s enjoyed trips to the dog park and has gotten along well with other dogs. She previously lived with two cats and was happy to share her home with them as well.
Legacy has also raised two litters of puppies during her lifetime. By all accounts, she was a devoted and loving mother who adored her babies. Soon, those puppy-raising days will be behind her forever, and it will finally be Legacy’s turn to be pampered.
Could you offer a spare couch, a little patience and a lot of love? Fostering is temporary, but the impact lasts a lifetime. Message us to learn more about becoming a foster parent. 6/22/26 UPDATE ~ From foster girl Legacy: I’ve settled in with my new foster family and am getting along great with my foster siblings, Koko Lovebug and Smith. Neither one of them seems particularly impressed by me, which is hard to believe since I clearly should be the center of attention! 😆
I’m adjusting well to the house rules, although my foster dad runs a pretty tight ship around here. The good news is that I’m allowed on the couch, which is perfect because one of my favorite things is spending quality time with my humans. I’m especially fond of holding paws (or hands!) and just hanging out together.
I’ve already mastered the screen door, have a perfect record for potty breaks outside and am doing great in my foster home. I’m leash trained, allergy-free and currently don’t require any medications.
Now all I need is a family of my own! My ideal home would have a fenced backyard where I can explore and enjoy the outdoors. I get along well with other animals, and kids are pretty great too.
If you’re looking for a sweet companion who loves affection, adventure and a good cuddle session, I might just be your perfect match!
