Last week, I went to meet a nice family. They looked a little familiar. It turns out that I had met them at the last Bulldog Bonanza!
While they fell in love with me immediately, they wanted to make sure that their resident Bulldog, Axl, and I would make a good pair. Well, I think he’s a pretty cool guy. Coincidentally, he was adopted from the same foster family last year!
So, I’m off to my new life! I’ve lost some weight, gained some muscle, and I’m ready for exciting adventures with my new family.
Lexi has lived a good life since birth. She has only had one family that loved her very much.
Lexi’s home life recently changed and she found herself wondering if the RV life was for her. It was small, cramped, and not to mention those stairs! Some bulldogs were built for stairs, some bulldogs were not built for stairs! Lexi is a bulldog not built for stairs.
You could say that maybe if Lexi lost a few pounds, the stairs wouldn’t be such a challenge! But you still have the cramped issue! And no matter how much weight Lexi might lose, the shower was still small! Lexi decided she wanted more space, bigger shower, and no stairs!
She started looking and came across an ad about bulldog homes! They came in all sizes and shapes! She could pick one as big as her heart wanted! So she reached out and just like that, she was accepted! Please welcome 3 year old Lexi Love Handles!
1/30/24 Update: I arrived at my foster home on Saturday, and as you can see, I was a big addition. Foster Mom likes to tell people that she now has over 200 lbs of Bulldogs!
If you are concerned about my health, don’t be. I signed up for Bulldog Boot Camp. I’m learning about healthy foods and getting a little exercise. Summer’s coming and I need to get back into my bikini! After my slim down, I know I’ll feel a lot better and be able to keep up with the resident boys, who I already enjoy playing with.
I would love to be your valentine! Get in your applications because I’ll be ready for my love-filled home in no time.
2/9/24 Update: Did someone say TREAT? Miss Lexi Love Handles had a blast at the Bulldog Bonanza today! She claims to have burned a few extra calories with all of that socializing and, therefore, should have a treat. Alright, line your buddies up and get a little something yummy.
