7/21/25 AWESOME ADOPTION ALERT! From Lillie May Easter: On Friday, I said goodbye to suburban life and hello to the farm lifestyle.
I packed up my toys and said thanks for my foster family. I had enjoyed my time with them, but it was time for the next chapter of my life, with my own family!
From the foster mom: Lillie May Easter was adopted this week by Charlene and David who are no strangers to rescue. Lillie May Easter is off to join fellow Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue alumni Bojangles and Smokey Trey, as well as three other fur siblings for some peaceful country living.
She wasted no time finding the toy box, emptying it and jumping right into a comfy lap!

INTRODUCTION: Say hello to one of the newest members of our rescue family, the lovely Lillie May Easter! This beautiful lady arrived in style, thanks to her kind-hearted chauffeur David, who drove her all the way from Lubbock to Dallas for a fresh start and a brighter future.
At around 7 years old, Lillie May Easter has clearly known love before. She’s raised a few litters and weathered some hard times, but through it all, her gentle spirit and sweet soul continue to shine.
She’s just starting to settle in and will soon be treated to a well-deserved spa day—including a full vet checkup to address her cherry eye and hematomas on both ears.
Lillie May Easter is soft, sweet and ready to be spoiled. She’s about to discover just how wonderful life can be with love, comfort and care.
Stay tuned as this lovely girl begins her next chapter—we promise it’s going to be a beautiful one.
5/1/25 UPDATE: This past week, Lillie May Easter visited the vet — and sadly, our concerns were confirmed. Years of neglect have left their mark: her ears are so severely calcified that she is likely completely deaf.
She’s also suffering from advanced dental disease and will need surgery to repair a cherry eye. The vet had no doubt — this sweet girl has lived a hard, painful life.
But here’s what’s even more powerful than her past: her spirit.
Lillie May Easter is one of the most affectionate, joyful, and playful dogs I’ve ever had the privilege to foster. She absolutely radiates love. She’s obsessed with stuffed toys, always finds the softest spots in the house, and once proudly gathered every dog bed she could find into one giant, fluffy nest.
Despite everything she’s endured, her heart remains wide open — and now, she’s ready for the next chapter: one filled with comfort, kindness, and a family to call her own.

5/8/25 UPDATE Lillie May Easter is bursting with personality and powered by playtime! This goofy girl lives for her toys and will keep going until she’s completely tuckered out — then it’s nap time with her favorite stuffie, of course.
Don’t think you can just sit and watch — Lillie May Easter insists you play too! She’ll nudge you, paw at you, and give you her best Bulldog pout until you join in.
Though she’s past her puppy days, Lillie May Easter is still a young girl at heart with a joyful, unstoppable spirit. She’s ready to bring laughter, love, and lots of toy-chasing into her home.

5/23/25 UPDATE: Lillie May Easter is the sweetest little warrior with a heart full of love!
This beautiful girl has been through a lot in the past week, including a spay, cherry eye surgery, tooth extraction, and the removal of a growth on her hind leg (currently being biopsied).
The first few days of recovery were tough, but true to her Bulldog spirit, Lillie May Easter is bouncing back and showing us her fun, affectionate self again!
Though she can’t hear the words, we know she feels how loved she is. Her tail wags, soft eyes, and constant presence at our side say it all — she knows she’s finally safe.
Lillie May Easter is full of personality and absolutely adores soft plush toys. You’ll almost always find one in her mouth — or being gently nudged into your lap as an invitation to play! She’s also a professional lap dog (despite what her size might suggest) and insists that your lap is her throne.
This gem of a gal is now ready for the family she deserves.

7/10/25 UPDATE: Lillie May Easter needs a family! From her foster momma: Lillie May Easter has been one busy girl! From morning walks and playtime to supervising my work-from-home routine, her calendar is packed full of important activities.
