Lola Lee

Lola Lee

Lola Lee checked out of Mays’ Manor yesterday and moved to her new home in Austin! Lola now has her very own humans and fur sister, Charlie, to love. Her new family showed up with toys and treats, and Lola was ready to pack her bags. Lola hit the jackpot with her new family and will be so spoiled and loved.
I am 5 years old and other than some skin stuff, I think I’m just about perfect!
I need a surgery to end my baby-making days and maybe a little nip-tuck here and there, but I’ll be good to go in no time at all. Dr. Larsen was giving me the once over and she wondered just how I got to be this beautiful in only 5 years. I’ve wondered that myself. All I really know is that I’m glad to join rescue. I also hope my new family might need a Bulldog who loves to get dressed up and with a tiara and a bow!

9/12/20 Update:  Lola Lee checked out of the vet clinic and into her foster home just in time for a long weekend.

Lola did great with her introductions to the other pups and buddied right up with foster sister Kiwi Lee.
Lola loves toys and I have to clear them out of her bed every morning. Lola is currently trying to claim all the beds, but Kiwi Lee doesn’t seem to mind. She just backs right up on her. Lola has a playful side. She is constantly putting toys in Kiwi’s kennel, as if she is trying to share and play.
She does really well on a leash- it’s really the only way I can get her outside. As soon as I put it on her, she is ready to go. When I take it off her in the yard, she tries to go back in the house.
While waiting for her perfect furever family, Lola will be working on going outside to potty and not marking. For the time being, she gets pretty close to the potty pad.
9/20/20 Update:  Foster Mom tries to get me to go out in the yard and frankly, I don’t much care to do so. I think the only reason a gal like myself needs to go outside is to take care of my business and get back inside. I’m not much on playing with the others and absolutely none of that horse play. It scares me a little when they get into my face space! My idea of a good time is to curl up in a comfy bed and be surrounded with toys! I love toys. I hope that my furever family finds me soon … and I get to curl up next to them in the bed or couch!
11/20/20 Update:   Lola Lee loves cuddle time and her toys! Lola is very affectionate and is really starting to blossom. She loves play time and is learning to stop when she gets a little rambunctious. She has no problem going belly up for a good ol’ belly rub.
