After several months in rescue, Lola Sinclair has found her family! Her outgoing spirit and loving disposition were on full display last weekend at the North Texas Irish Festival. It was there where she met and won over Daniel and Allison. Once the three of them met, everything clicked ~ it was a perfect match. Lola Sinclair hit the jackpot with her new parents and will live the spoiled life she deserves with unlimited belly, rubs and treats.
I should have seen it coming, but I didn’t.
My mom told me time and time again to stop starting fights with the other dog. The bad thing about it was the other dog was old and sick. The Schnauzer had no way to protect herself. She had been adopted years before and came from a life of misery. I guess I sensed she was weak and could not fight back.
If I could have a do-over, I would have listened and I would have stopped all that stuff. After all, I loved the other dogs in the house, the cats were my friends and every time I met another dog we played and played and played.
My mom is actually a foster parent for an all-breed rescue. When she brought puppies home, I never wanted them to leave.
But that Schnauzer? I just couldn’t help myself. It was like, “The devil made me do it.”
There were a lot of tears and a lot of hugs goodbye. My mom was an emotional mess. But she didn’t want me confined to her bedroom all the time. If not, I was constantly searching for that Schnauzer.
I’ve already been spayed, had eye surgery, had my lady parts tweaked and all my vaccinations. I am going to meet Dr. Larsen and explain to her why I joined rescue. Maybe she’ll know why I picked on only one other dog and I couldn’t behave myself. Dr. Larsen will understand me. She’ll also be blinded by my beauty.
I am 5 years old and I’m ready for a Schnauzer-free family who can understand me!
9/5/23 Update: This diva knows how to give her foster mom a look if she doesn’t get her way. She knows what she wants and will make sure everyone around her knows too. She’s good about telling you if someone has something she wants, but for the most part, she just wants to sit in your lap and cuddle. She is potty trained and crate trained. That’s a win/win!
9/12/23 Update: This week, my foster brother had to go to the vet. I wanted to make sure my foster mom didn’t get lost, so I hopped in the front seat.
When it was time to pick up the human kid, I called shotgun. I really do love a good car ride and running errands. I’m a great co-pilot and love adventures.
When I’m not riding around town, I’m chilling on the couch with my foster family.
At first, I was a little unsure of my foster brother, Champ Russell, but I’m warming up to him and even let him nap on me.
9/21/23 Update: It takes a lot of work to be this cute! Lola Sinclair knows how beautiful she is and loves to pose for the camera. Cheeeeeeese!
9/27/23 Update: I have been practicing my dance moves this week! I love to wiggle my booty to the music. All those moves sure can wear me out. And, yes, I can fall asleep anywhere!
10/10 23 Update: Lola Sinclair loves to be treated like the queen she is. She wants to sit and lay on the softest most comfortable spots in the house, and who can blame her? With that face, and her regal personality, she should should live like royalty.
10/19/23 Update: After having a blast at Bull-O-Ween his past weekend, Lola Sinclair has been day dreaming about finding her next family. She knows that they are out there.
She is the perfect petunia. She is crate and potty trained, loves to sit in your lap and go for car rides. She loves everyone she meets and is quick to roll over and let you rub her belly!
10/31/23 Update: This gal is the perfect companion. She loves to sit beside you on the couch and watch TV, or crawl into bed and catch some ZZZs. Or if you have errands to run, she’s the best co-pilot.
She gets along with all the resident dogs and even puts herself to bed when she is tired. She loves to fetch and chew on her toys. She knows her perfect family is out there and can not wait to meet them.
11/7/23 Update: This gal continues to be the epitome of a perfect lady. She prefers a quieter home, and would do well with older kids.
Don’t get me wrong, she loves to play, but this gal had learned to appreciate the finer things in life, and that includes enjoying luxurious self care of a kept pup, and loves to lay around. Sometimes I can talk her into a little dancing and she will wiggle around with me.
1/12/24 Update: Thank goodness it’s Friday…. Foster girl Lola Sinclair is ready for the weekend ~ and ready for adoption!
From the foster momma: This gal is the perfect house hippo. She loves to snuggle and keep you warm on the couch. She is looking for a forever family to love and dote on her.
2/23/24 Update: Lola Sinclair is looking for a comfy spot to call her own. She is the perfect couch potato, and a totally snuggle bug. Do you have the heart and space to give this girl a forever home?
