This beautiful girl is off to live a beautiful life with her furever family, Emily and Taylor. They recently lost their Bulldog, Buddy, after a long and wonderful life together. Loretta Lynn will be treated like the country royalty she is, as she will be the only pup in the house! Congratulations to all!
I hopped in the rescue wagon and had the time of my life. I watched out the back window as the Smoky Mountain home got smaller and smaller and smaller.
I was ready to go. I had been there for four years, and I felt like if I was ever going to be famous, it was now or never.
I was shy at first, but when the treat bag was opened, I had no problem getting to the front of the line. Treats are my favorite and once I was sure that there was enough for me, I calmed down and just did some humming as we traveled down the highway.
Dr. Larsen said my color was beautiful and that she loved red heads. She was whispering in my ear that I might get to go home with her. I sure hope so. Dr. Larsen loves Bulldogs and I think I would fit right in!
Watch for my updates while I am in rescue and get ready to see me with a new family soon. I can hardly wait!
8/12/22 Update: Quick vet update on foster girl Loretta Lynn: Loretta has two tickborne diseases ~ both ehrlichia and anaplasmosis. Dr. Larsen started her on doxycycline and will wait at least two weeks before surgery due to clotting concerns. She’s a very sweet, shy girl!
10/17/22 Update: Loretta Lynn lives on in her namesake. This adorable little girl is as sweet and gentle as they come.
Weighing in at a petite 43 pounds, Loretta is learning what love is all about. She has never been in a home and enjoyed the simple things, like sitting on a sofa.
Loretta has the softest coat and sweetest smell you’ll ever find on a Bulldog.

11/7/22 Update: This beautiful country queen is wondering where all of her fans are? She has the silkiest coat, smells like a dream (honestly!), is as quiet as they come and does not toot or snore! She’s also the best walking Bulldog we’ve ever seen. Loretta Lynn is ready to be part of a loving home with appropriately adoring fans.
