Lori Amigo

Lori Amigo

The lovely Laney Amigo and her sister Lori Amigo have been reunited and adopted as a pair by a former Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue adoptive family. These beautiful girls hit the Bulldog jackpot!

Their forever family is a girls’ girl kind of place. The sisters will live in Bulldog heaven with a mom, a grandmom, a skin sister and two fur sisters. Let’s hear it for the girls!

This wonderful family had a Bulldog who looked just like Laney. They have adopted sisters in the past and know how strong that bond is. That’s why they wanted to be the family who could bring both Laney and Lori into their home.

We are so grateful for this special family. They are a match from above for two girls who came into rescue very scared last October. Laney and Lori have blossomed so much in rescue over the past months and we can’t wait to see how they flourish in their forever home.

Bulldog friends I named myself today, and I named myself Lori. I am Amigo #3.

In the 1st picture is my real sister Laney. We are litter mates, breeder mama’s and best friends. When we saw the rescue wagon, she tripped over me trying to get there first.  I told her to slow down but she was so afraid she was going to get left behind. Left behind? I would never have left without her.

Can you see I have a cherry eye and I need some eye drops? It hurts, sometimes I don’t open it all the way. I showed Dr. Larsen and she told me not to worry about my eye. she said before she finished with me my vision would be perfect and she would have me as beautiful as can be.  Well, we will see about that. Being a breeder mama, I never felt that pretty.

So, remember me, Lori, and watch my transformation. I will be beautiful, just wait and see.

11/24/23 Update:  I haven’t posted lately, as I have been relaxing at the B&B, also known as Bright Star Veterinary Clinic. I figured it was time to get back out in front of the camera for my fans.

My brother, Logan Amigo, already found a forever family, and my sister Laney Amigo kept raving about life in her foster home, so I decided to give it a try. And it’s been amazing.

I am such a happy girl, and I love all the pets and attention the hoomans give me on demand. My foster sister, Lola Sinclair, is pretty awesome too. I hope to have my own family soon!

11/25/23 Update:  This precious girl is a doll. She’s still shy about her surroundings and gets scared by big noises, but she LOVES people. She would happily sit beside you and let you pet her and talk to her all day. She loves people, other dogs, is potty trained and crate trained. She is ready to be adopted!

12/7/23 Update:  Lori Amigo is getting more comfortable in her foster home. She loves people and other dogs. She looks forward to cuddles, getting attention and playing.

She is still a bit timid with the normal noises of a home, but every day she gets braver and begins to explore more areas of her foster home.

This week, she learned how to jump up on furniture, and has claimed the comfy chair as hers. She has a wonderful personality, and really deserves her own family for the holidays.

12/13/23 Update:  This girl amazes me every day. She has grown by leaps and bounds from the first day she came into our home.

When Lori came to us, she was timid and scared to leave her crate. Now, she’s claimed the office chair as her throne and runs around and plays outside without a care in the world.

Lori has a heart of gold and deserves a family just as sweet as she is. Her Christmas wish is to find a family of her own.

12/21/23 Update:  Lori is starting to show her more playful side and beginning to enjoy being a dog! She is a wonderful foster sister, getting along with everyone in the house. She even offered to help fellow foster sister, Winifred Pearl, carry around a heavy stick.

1/25/24 Update:  “It’s exhausting being this beautiful and modeling all afternoon.” ~ Lori Amigo

From the foster momma: Lori is a sweet gentle soul who is looking for her perfect match. She would do best in a calm home, as she is still a little timid of loud noises. This gal has so much love to give and loves everyone she meets.

1/30/24 Update:  Lori has been a little shy since joining rescue, but over the last few weeks, she has blossomed into the beautiful outgoing girl we always knew she was! She is coming out of her shell and has learned that the living room is THE BEST place in the house.

This week, she watched TV, got to nap in her foster mom’s arms and got to annoy her foster sister, Lola Sinclair.

Lori is a gentle gal who loves to be loved on, and loves other dogs. She is looking for her forever family.

2/9/24 Update: Lori Amigo is looking for a love match this Valentine’s Day! She’s been working on her profile page listing all the things that make her a catch and all the things she’s looking for in her next home.

She would love a fur friend to play with, as she loves the companionship of not just people, but other dogs. This week, Lori was successful in getting the old man resident dog to play with her.
