Low Tire

Low Tire

10/7/26 AWESOME ADOPTION ALERT times two! Grace Chloe and Low Tire found their family. ♥

A few weeks ago, Grace Chloe was adopted by Josh and Destiny, and while they were falling in love with their sweet little girl, they were already wondering if there might be another Bulldog who would be the perfect addition to their family.

Grace Chloe made the decision pretty easy. She’s small, easygoing and loves absolutely everyone. Her love language includes treats and food. Mealtime is, without question, her favorite time of day. And she fit into Josh and Destiny’s family like she had always been there.

And yesterday, Grace Chloe got to meet a potential new family member.
His name is Low Tire.

And apparently, somebody forgot to tell these two that soulmates are supposed to take things slowly.
It was love at first sight. ❤️

Low Tire is also small, easygoing and convinced that everyone he meets is his new best friend. When it was time to leave, Low Tire trotted out the door with Grace Chloe right beside him as if they had been doing it forever.

Some things just click.

Grace Chloe found her family a few weeks ago. Yesterday, she helped that family grow by one very handsome little Bulldog.

Welcome home, Low Tire! We have a feeling you and Grace Chloe are going to make quite the pair.

Two Bulldogs. One family. Double the wrinkles, double the love… and double the food bill. 🙂

9/28/26 INTRODUCTION ~ Please welcome Low Tire to our rescue family.

Before you point out the obvious… yes, Low Tire’s ears are cropped. But what you don’t know yet is just how sweet, happy and ridiculously charming this little guy is.

Low Tire weighs 36 pounds and stands about 14 inches tall. He ended up in a local shelter after being found wandering the streets in the Prosper area, seemingly on his own little adventure through town.

His back legs are badly bowed, and he has many of the tell-tale signs of coming from an unethical breeding operation. He is what some call a “Pocket Bully” or “Pocket Bulldog” ~ the result of breeding for an extremely small size or exaggerated look, sometimes with little regard for the dog’s health and well-being.

When people breed dogs this way without sufficient consideration for health, genetics and structural soundness, the result can be what we jokingly refer to as a genetic nightmare. Sure, these dogs may look adorable on the outside, but they can pay a pretty steep price for the way they were bred.

But none of that is Low Tire’s fault.

He didn’t ask to be bred this way. He didn’t ask to be wandering the streets. And he certainly didn’t ask to be without a family. What he deserves is to be safe, loved and cared for forever.

And this boy has a permanent smile on his face. He met a whole lot of people today and, naturally, tried to go home with every single one of them. 😂

Something tells us there is a family who is missing this little guy and may have no idea where he is. He’s far too special to simply let him disappear into the world without making sure someone isn’t looking for him.

For now, Low Tire is safe and making all of us smile, like only this little nugget o’ love can.

And while we’re talking about safe places to land… we’re always looking for more foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Every time we say yes to a Bulldog who needs help, we need a family willing to open their home and give that dog a chance. If you’ve ever thought about fostering, maybe this is your sign.

You provide the couch, the cuddles and the temporary home. We’ll take care of the rest.
