We have exciting news to share… Luna Madi decided to adopt us as her parents!
I joined rescue a while back. I would say I “walked right in;” however, I didn’t walk. I sort of limped.
I joined rescue with a torn ACL. When they found out I could barely walk, I was so afraid they wouldn’t want me. Much to my surprise, they said, “Come on, girl. You have picked the best place to land. Rescue is going to fix you right up.”
And they did. I am re-learning how to walk slowly. I’m also learning to appreciate having someone who can help me with my therapy.
Rescue has been great ~ plenty of food and treats and just about all the love I can stand!
It won’t be long before I will be ready to find my forever family. I love other dogs and kids are a plus.
I am going to tell Santa to find me a family… a family who will love me forever.
3/10/23 Update: I am feeling better after surgery. I like to push the limits, but when told what to do and not do I listen VERY WELL and after that I won’t do it anymore. I am not very friendly with certain dogs, not yet anyway. I love attention and love to play until I wear out then I take a nap until my energy comes back up.
3/14/23 Update: Luna Madi loves the kennel when home alone and has plenty of energy. She is still discovering new things outside. She loves to stare at the outdoors when not running around. She also loves car rides and obeys many commands. She is still struggling with other dogs, but we are working on it.
3/21/23 Update: I’m a great listener and follow commands like to stay off the bed and couches. I am finally eating at scheduled times and going potty when I go outside. We are still working on by behavior while being next to other dogs. I love my new treats for listening. I also don’t mind the kennel with my bed inside among my other beds I have.
3/28/23 Update: I’m doing great in my foster home. I’m getting the hang of house training and I always listen to my foster parents. I love them so much. I also love car rides and naps! My ideal family will have a fur-free home, so I can get all the lovings. Put in your application and if you’re matched to me, I promise I’ll be worth it.
4/4/23 Update: Luna Madi has plenty of energy, but doesn’t mind the kennel when she’s home alone. She enjoys discovering new things outside and loves to stare outdoors when not running around. She loves car rides and understands and obeys commands.
5/2/23 Update: Foster girl Luna Madi has been a busy girl with her foster pops: watching TV, enjoying new toys and going shopping at Home Depot.
6/13/23 Update: Foster girl Luna Madi will be relaxing by the pool this weekend. She told her foster pops it’s time to go shopping for some pool toys.

6/21/23 Update: Someone is asking to go for her SPA day and her name is Luna Madi.

8/22/23 Update: Foster girl Luna Madi and foster boy Peter David Frampton went for a joy ride and got a quick dose of fresh air today.
