Malcolm In The Middle (now Tanjiro)

8/31/25 AWESOME ADOPTION ALERT! From the foster momma: Malcolm In The Middle? Not anymore. He’s right where he belongs! ❤️

Today, Malcolm officially found his home with the wonderful Brown family, and with a new family comes a new name: Tanjiro Malcolm Brown! New name. New family. New adventures. ✨

His foster parents made sure he left with all the comforts of home: a special ornament marking his Gotcha Day, a bag of his favorite homemade treats and his beloved blanket. Tanjiro is off to live his very best life… and we couldn’t be happier for him. 💙

6/21/25 INTRODUCTION:  Please welcome Malcolm In The Middle to our rescue family!

At just 3 years old, Malcolm In The Middle is one seriously adorable Bulldog—with a personality as bold as his name! In his previous life, Malcolm had one main job: being a ladies’ man—and he took that role very seriously. But on Thursday, he officially hung up his bachelor hat and joined the rescue life, ready for a fresh start.

Malcolm is as sweet as they come and full of playful energy. Leash walking is still a brand-new concept for him, which currently means lots of stopping, flopping, and dramatic rollovers. We eventually get where we’re going—it just takes a little time (and a sense of humor!).

He’s working through some typical issues: skin irritations, eye care needs, and he’ll need to be neutered. He’s also never lived inside a home before, so basic manners and indoor living will be a learning adventure. The good news? Malcolm is smart, eager to please, and ready to learn everything with the help of a patient and loving family.

Weighing in at 37 pounds, Malcolm has never met a stranger. With time, care and training, this charming boy is going to make an amazing companion for someone who sees the gem underneath the goofy swagger.

8/9/25 UPDATE: From the foster momma: Malcolm In The Middle is doing great! 🐶 His eye surgery is healing beautifully, and he’s feeling much better. Malcolm is working on his house training — he does well going outside, but still needs a consistent potty schedule to avoid accidents indoors.
This sweet, laid-back guy has a calm and gentle nature. He’s happy to join in on playtime when foster girl Roxanne On The Side kicks things off or when his foster dad gets the zoomies, but more often than not, Malcolm prefers to just relax and be close to his people. A true companion pup who loves to lounge and soak up the love. 💛
