10/25/26 AWESOME ADOPTION ALERT! From the foster momma: Sweet Maple Butter has been through more change than any girl should have to endure.
After a difficult start that included being spayed while in heat at a shelter, Maple Butter was left with some ongoing urine leakage. She can also be a little unsure of new people and places, but once she lets you into her heart, she becomes the BEST cuddle buddy you could ever ask for!
Thankfully, Maple Butter’s story took a beautiful turn when a familiar Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue family decided to make her part of their world! This family wasn’t new to our program, and they even flew all the way from Colorado to meet Maple Butter and attend our 20th annual Bull-O-Ween!
The mom and human brother were pretty sure Maple Butter was their girl, but the dad needed a little convincing. But it didn’t take long for Maple Butter to work her magic, though. Once he got to know this special girl, he realized what the rest of the family already knew: Maple Butter is truly something special!
Maple Butter proved to be the perfect road trip companion on the drive home to Colorado, where she was welcomed by her new skin brother and extended family. Now her days begin with walks around the lake before she clocks in as her mom’s very best home office assistant.
Her new family sees beyond the little challenges Maple Butter may have, giving her the patience, comfort and unconditional love she deserves. From uncertainty and change to lake walks, family adventures and all the cuddles her heart desires, Maple Butter is finally right where she belongs.
Congratulations, Maple Butter! May your days be filled with soft beds, endless snuggles and a lifetime of being loved exactly as you are!

7/27/26 INTRODUCTION ~ Please welcome Maple Butter to our rescue family!
Sadly, we’ve heard this story before. A family falls on hard times and asks someone to temporarily care for their Bulldog. Days turn into weeks, weeks turn into months, and eventually it becomes clear that no one is coming back.
That’s the story of Maple Butter.
While her past may be uncertain, one thing is crystal clear: Maple Butter is an absolute sweetheart. She has never met a stranger and seems to believe everyone she meets is a potential new friend. She has a gentle, easygoing personality that makes her impossible not to love.
Maple Butter walks beautifully on a leash, settles quietly in her crate when needed and is happiest when she’s spending time with her people. Like many dogs we know, one of her greatest loves is food! She happily accepts every treat and meal offered, and we’d love to see her fill out a bit, as she could benefit from gaining a few pounds.
She’s already spayed and will just need her vaccinations updated before she’s ready for the next chapter of her life.
Some dogs leave an impression the moment you meet them. Maple Butter is one of those dogs, and we can’t wait to watch her story turn into the happy ending she deserves. ❤️
