7/15/25 AWESOME ADOPTION ALERT! It took less than two minutes for Selena and Greg to know—Marcel was “the one.” He worked his magic right away, rolling over for belly rubs and happily accepting some good ol’ booty scratches. If it were up to them, they would’ve scooped him up on the spot.

INTRODUCTION: Cute as can be, Marcel joins rescue.
Marcel was not worried when he ended up at a local shelter because he knew his family would come looking for him. But after waiting daily for them to show up, he realized they might not be coming after all. In his mind he had never done anything wrong, so he was shocked.
Marcel was neutered and had some growths removed from his back, given all his vaccinations, and he was ready to hop in the rescue wagon when it pulled up.
Marcel is around 2-3, loves other dogs and ready to start a new life with a family that will make sure he never gets lost again.

Meet Marcel, our brindle Casanova with a big personality and an even bigger heart! This 4.5-year-old, 50-pound hunk is more than just a pretty face—he’s a fun-loving, toy-chasing, car-riding, long-walk-taking kind of guy who’s ready to bring the party wherever he goes!
Marcel is full of playful energy and would thrive with an active family who’s ready to include him in the fun. Whether it’s a hike, a game of fetch, or a car ride with the windows down, Marcel is your go-to adventure buddy.
He’s a bit of a ladies’ man—he does great with female dogs, but he’s not a fan of male competition. That’s totally fine by us! Marcel would do well as an only dog or in a home with a chill female companion who doesn’t mind a little flirting.
Sweet, social, and always ready to go, Marcel is looking for someone who will give him the interaction, structure, and affection he craves. He’s the total package and just needs the right match to bring out his very best self.

4/2/25 Update: Marcel (or Mar Mar Moo, affectionately) is the sweetest boy in the land! He is playful and loves running in the backyard, but in true Bulldog fashion he also loves napping whenever and wherever. He is potty trained and crate trained.
