It took my new family 575 miles and a whole 10 hours to come and adopt me, and let me tell you, it was worth every second!
When Steve and Hyrum finally met me, it was love at first sight for both sides. There was a lot of jumping, spinning, and “I love yous” flying around on Friday when we all got together. I was so thrilled, I could barely contain myself!
During their long drive from New Mexico, my new parents kept my foster mom updated on their progress, showing me where they were on the map. It felt like forever waiting for them to arrive, but the moment they did, they fell to their knees, showered me with kisses, and I knew I was going home with these two wonderful guys.
But wait, there’s more! They had a surprise for me—they were going to make a pit stop on the way home to meet another Bulldog in rescue and adopt him too. That means I have a new brother coming home with us! The excitement was overwhelming, and I sprinted to the SUV without a second glance back.
Texas was nice, but now I’m embracing my new life as a mountain dog. With temperatures in the low 60s this weekend, life is looking pretty perfect.
My previous owner had to head back to college, and unfortunately, I couldn’t go along. While it was a sad goodbye, I understand the situation and am ready to start a new chapter.
I’m a playful 2-year-old Bulldog who’s used to having lots of furry friends around. I’m hoping to find an active family with other dogs so I can continue to enjoy the fun and companionship I’m used to.
Currently, I’m with Dr. Larsen and will be having a little procedure on Tuesday to help with that “loving feeling.” After that, I’ll be all set to find the perfect family who’s ready to welcome me into their home.
I’m as sweet as can be, and I’m looking forward to meeting you soon!
