9/26/26 AWESOME ADOPTION ALERT! From the foster momma: Meeko came to live with us on August 25, a little shy and timid as she took in all the sights, sounds and smells of her new world. She had no idea just how much her life was about to change.
She arrived from the vet after her spay and first eye surgery and walked straight into a full house… a foster family with three dogs and a cat! One by one, she met her new siblings, and Meeko surprised us by settling right in. She seamlessly joined the pack, never tried to boss anyone around and quickly figured out the daily routine. In fact, she loved every minute of it!
We knew her family was out there. We just had to wait for the right people to find her.
And then, on September 17, they did. ❤️
Pamela came to meet Meeko, and she instantly knew this was her girl. Pamela and her husband had shared more than nine wonderful years with their Bulldog, Molly, whom they adopted through rescue. Molly had recently passed away, and when Pamela saw Meeko, she couldn’t believe the resemblance. She said Meeko was the spitting image of Molly.
Some things just feel meant to be.
And now, Meeko has a new name, a new family and a new life. Please welcome Ruby Sue!
And apparently, Ruby Sue has already settled into her new job as a very important family member because she’s already had her very first professional photoshoot.
We couldn’t be happier for this sweet girl. We are so grateful we got to be part of Meeko’s journey and help her find the family she was always meant to have.
Ruby Sue, your happily ever after has officially begun!

8/25/26 INTRODUCTION ~ Please welcome Meeko to our rescue family!
When Meeko arrived at a local shelter, she looked almost relieved. It was so hot outside that she could hardly breathe. All she wanted was a safe place to lie down and some water to drink.
No one came looking for her at the shelter and honestly, Meeko seemed just fine with that. She had no idea it was about to be the beginning of a whole new life.
Meeko joined rescue and has never looked back! Now she’s 40 pounds of pure Bulldog perfection, and after her eye surgery this week, she’ll be ready to be matched to an adoptive family who will make sure she never gets lost again.
But Meeko’s story is only possible because someone opened their home to her.
WE NEED MORE FOSTER FAMILIES IN THE DALLAS/FORT WORTH AREA!
Every day, there are Bulldogs sitting in local shelters who need us. We want to save them, but we can only take a dog if we have a foster home ready.
Fostering is temporary. You provide a safe place to land, love, food and the everyday care a Bulldog needs while we handle the veterinary expenses and work to find the right family. And when that family finally comes along, you get to know that you helped save a life.
You don’t have to foster forever. You just have to say yes for now.
More foster homes = more Bulldogs saved from local shelters.
If you have room in your home and your heart for a Bulldog who desperately needs a second chance, please consider becoming a foster family. Meeko needed someone to say yes. The next Bulldog waiting in a shelter needs you, too. Message us to learn more.
