6/3/25 AWESOME ADOPTION ALERT! From the foster momma: Our sweet boy Millionaire found his home on Saturday, and with that came a new name: Crash—perfect for this goofy, energetic pup who loves to run, play, and, well… crash into just about everything! (People, dogs, doors, walls—you name it, he’s bounced off it. All in good fun, of course!)
Crash is now living his best life in Shreveport, Louisiana, with his amazing new parents, Tracey and Dirk, and his awesome big fur brother, Odin. From being found alone, starving, and with a painful, softball-sized infected bite on his neck… to being safe, well-fed, and so loved—Crash has come full circle.
While we’ll miss this little goofball dearly, our hearts are full knowing he’s exactly where he belongs—with a family who adores him.
Happy trails, Crash!
And a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped him along the way. You made this happy ending possible!

INTRODUCTION: My name is Millionaire… because one day soon, I’m going to feel like a million bucks.
Right now? Not so much.
I’m covered in grime, my fur is matted and patchy, and let’s just say… I’ve smelled better.
But the toughest part? This painful, softball-sized growth hanging from my jaw. It’s been there a while, and let me tell you—it hurts worse than it looks.
I’m only about 4 years old, but I’ve already lived through more than most. I was found wandering the streets, alone and in rough shape. I don’t know how long I’d been out there, but I do know I’m grateful someone finally scooped me up and got me to safety.
The shelter staff gave me some meds to help with the infection, and then… the rescue wagon rolled in! The shelter staff wheeled me out in this big ol’ cart, and I was so excited to leave, I nearly jumped out before it even stopped. I’m ready for healing. I’m ready for help.
Everyone keeps telling me that once this growth is removed and my coat comes back in, I’ll be a total showstopper. And honestly? I believe them. I can’t wait to look in the mirror and see a brand-new me staring back.
Stick around, friends—this glow-up is going to be next-level.
I might look rough now, but trust me… soon, I’ll be living up to my name.
5/1/25 update: We want to thank everyone for keeping Millionaire in your thoughts — your support means the world.
He underwent surgery today and is already looking so much better! The mass on his face is believed to have developed from an old dog fight injury that eventually turned into a serious growth. It has been sent out for a biopsy to confirm the exact cause.
The veterinary team was able to remove most of it, with an estimated 95% of the mass excised. Due to its location — near major blood vessels and partially attached beneath the neck — complete removal was delicate, but the surgeons were pleased with the results and confident in the margins they achieved.
We’ll keep you updated as we await biopsy results. For now, Millionaire is resting comfortably and on the road to healing.
5/9/25 update: Word on the street (okay, from a little birdie) is that I’ve got a fan club! Wait—me? A fan club?! WOWZERS! But honestly, can you blame them? I’m handsome, sweet, fun, and let’s be real… kind of a big deal.
Life keeps getting better by the day, but Tuesday is going to be my best day yet — I finally get my lampshade off and the staples out of my neck! Then everyone can fully appreciate how ridiculously gorgeous I am.
Sure, I’ll miss using my cone as a wrecking ball, a bulldog herding device for my foster siblings, and an excellent tool to make foster mom and dad move much faster at mealtime. (You’re welcome!) And hey, I know my foster mom just loves cleaning it out morning and night. Hehehe
I’ve been gaining weight — two pounds already! I’m getting plenty of good food and supplements, and it feels amazing to not be hungry anymore. I’m all wiggles and wags now, jumping around and giving kisses to everyone I meet!
I’ve got big ol’ feet and sometimes trip over them, but foster mom says that just makes me even cuter. She also says I’m basically a giant puppy — I’m only about 2, after all. Just imagine how the ladies will swoon once I finally grow into these paws!
Anyway, it’s dinner time (again!), so I’ve gotta run. More updates soon!
5/15/25 update: I’m documenting my last day as a “conehead,” and let me tell you—I’m beyond excited!
That giant, softball-sized lump on my neck (thanks to a nasty bug bite) is gone, my incision has healed beautifully, and I’m heading to the doc for my final checkup today.
Wish me luck—I can’t wait to show off the new and improved ME!
Thanks for all the love and support, fans. See you soon, cone-free and fabulous!
5/23/25 update: Millionaire is doing well in his foster home! He loves bones, treats, pets, and all the snuggles he can get.
His treat-taking technique is something else! I swear his neck stretches like a slinky as he tries to wrap his entire mouth around my hand.
We’re working on manners—though I’ll admit, foster dad is better at that part than I am. I may need lessons too!
At this stage, Millionaire wouldn’t be the best fit for a home with small children. He gets a bit too enthusiastic around food and treats, and he’s been known to knock you over in his rush to get the goods. We’re working on it, but it’s a work in progress.
Outside of mealtime excitement, he’s a chill, happy little dude who loves chewing on bones and barking at the cats through the window. He’s also a total Velcro dog—if we move, he’s right there, stuck to our feet like we’re all tethered together!
We did discover he’s not a fan of thunder. During the last storm, he spent most of the afternoon under the bed with our Jessie—poor babies!
He also missed the Pizza Paw-ty at Campisi’s yesterday because he wasn’t feeling well. He was spitting up some phlegm and just wanted to be close and cuddled. Thankfully, he bounced back quickly and is doing much better today. Whew!
Millionaire still has some weight to gain, but he’s already stealing hearts. This sweet guy is going to make someone’s whole life brighter—we just know it.
