3/22/26 AWESOME ADOPTION ALERT! From Mo Hito: About six weeks ago, my whole world turned upside down. My first family went through some big changes, and I suddenly found myself at the rescue… confused, uncomfortable and dealing with some really itchy skin. Those allergies were no joke, and I wasn’t sure I’d ever feel like myself again.
But then my amazing foster parents and Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue stepped in. With lots of patience, care and plenty of medicated baths, they helped me heal and get ready for the next chapter of my story.
And what a chapter it is! I loved my long car ride down to South Texas, especially when I got to meet my new mom halfway. That was the beginning of the greatest adventure of my life.
Now that I’m finally in my home, I can tell you everything is absolutely perfect. My skin feels better, my heart is full and I’m so excited to spend the rest of my life showing just how much love I have to give.
Thank you for choosing me. I’m finally home. ❤️

2/2/26 INTRODUCTION ~ Please welcome Mo Hito to our rescue family.
Not long ago, Mo Hito had a family who loved him the way every dog deserves to be loved. But life changed. A couple’s broken relationship turned his world upside down, and Mo Hito became the quiet casualty of that split. At just 3 years old, he’s already been through more than any dog should.
When he was recently returned to one person from the relationship, they were shocked by the condition he was in. Mo Hito was struggling with significant medical issues… severe infections in his ears, skin, tail pocket and facial folds, painfully overgrown nails, and the discomfort that comes with untreated illness. He had been suffering silently, and it was clear he needed help.
Today, Mo Hito was surrendered and for him, that surrender was an act of love. It was the moment someone raised their hand and said, he deserves better. He is now safe and finally getting the care, relief and attention he so desperately needs.
Despite everything he’s endured, Mo Hito is an incredibly sweet, loving boy. He adores people, loves cuddles and back scratches, enjoys car rides, and would thrive in almost any home: single, couple, with kids or without. He’s a typical Bulldog at heart: laid-back, affectionate and happiest when he’s near his people (preferably with a treat nearby).
Mo Hito does have some sensitivities that will need understanding. He can be protective around food with other dogs and is uncomfortable with dogs near his sore tail, which is completely understandable. He’s also learned to seek comfort in small, safe spaces, like kennels or quiet corners, which shows just how much gentleness and patience he deserves going forward.
Mo Hito didn’t fail anyone. People and circumstances failed him. But his story isn’t over. With proper medical care, consistency and a loving home, this boy has every chance to finally live the life he was always meant to have.
Sometimes surrender isn’t the end of a story.
Sometimes it’s the beginning of the right one.

3/21/26 GOOD NEWS BREWING ALERT for Mo Hito!
At first glance, Mo Hito might come across as a little surly or grouchy. But the truth is, he had been living with constant pain and discomfort from severe skin issues.
Thanks to his amazing foster parents, they found the right combination to help him feel so much better and now his true personality is shining through.
Mo Hito is a big fan of food (maybe a little too much!), fully house-trained and loves car rides and easygoing leash walks. He has a super chill, laid-back demeanor and is happiest just relaxing with his people.
What’s not really his thing? Lots of chaos, loud noise or overly energetic dogs. Mo Hito prefers a calm, peaceful home where he can lounge in his favorite chair, watch TV and enjoy quiet time with his humans.
His perfect evening? Low-key, cozy and full of companionship.
With his easygoing nature and sweet soul, it’s no surprise that Mo Hito has captured someone’s heat. He currently has an adoption pending! We’re so excited for this next chapter and can’t wait to see him continue to thrive in a home that matches his calm and loving spirit.
