Nacho Daddy

Nacho Daddy

6/28/25 AWESOME ADOPTION ALERT! From the foster momma: Nacho Daddy—now known as Odie—hit the road on Thursday for the best kind of adventure: the one that ends in a home for him!

His new mom, Kathy, and his furry siblings—Tag, Brewster, and Daphne—were all waiting with open hearts and wagging tails. From the moment he arrived, Odie was welcomed like family. It’s clear he’s already found his place in the pack!

Even better? Kathy is a repeat adopter with Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue, and we couldn’t be more grateful for her continued love and support.

Wishing Odie a lifetime of belly rubs, playtime, and snuggles—your new family was worth the wait! 💙

6/4/25 INTRODUCTION: Please welcome our latest save from a local shelter: Nacho Daddy.

Found wandering the streets without a clue where he was, Nacho Daddy was clearly lost—and heartbroken that no one came looking for him. At just 37 pounds, he’s a big ol’ baby with an even bigger heart.

Estimated to be around a year old (or maybe a little younger), Nacho Daddy is full of playful energy and puppy charm. He’s never met a stranger and has adored every dog he’s met so far—he’s truly the life of the paw-ty!

Though his family never came for him, Nacho Daddy’s time at the shelter was filled with love. The staff fell head over heels for him, calling him one of the cutest pups they’d seen in ages.

Now safe in rescue, Nacho Daddy has a little surgery ahead, and then he’ll be ready to meet the family he deserves—one that will never let him go.

Stay tuned… his best chapter is just beginning!

6/22/25 UPDATE: From Nacho Daddy’s foster momma: He’s small in size, BIG on charm! Don’t let his 37-pound frame fool you — Nacho Daddy has a personality that fills the whole room! With his signature two bottom teeth, soft coat and endless energy, he’s truly the total package.

Nacho Daddy is incredibly sweet and affectionate. He’s the definition of a Velcro dog — always by your side, following you from room to room like a loyal little shadow. He loved the car ride home with me and has settled in wonderfully.

He gets along great with other dogs, both male and female, and his curious nature keeps things entertaining. Open a cabinet? He’s ready to climb in and inspect it. He drinks more water than any dog I’ve ever fostered, eats with enthusiasm and absolutely loves treats.

Nacho Daddy enjoyed his first bath (a little spa day never hurts!) and walks beautifully on a leash. He also sleeps soundly in his crate at night and is doing fantastic with potty training — I’d say he’s about 90% there.

He’s young, playful and full of life. I think he’d thrive in an active home with a family that enjoys playing, exploring and making room on the couch for a goofy, lovable companion.
