At just 4 years old, Neo has experienced more than most dogs ever will. He started his life as a stud dog in a breeding program, but when his owner had to move, Neo was left behind. Unable to join the new home, he was put up for sale. Then he was given to a co-worker. And today, after everything, Neo joined rescue and it was a tearful goodbye.
He had spent a year with his last family and was there with his mother throughout her entire pregnancy. But then, everything changed. There were complications after the baby was born. His mother had to spend every day in the NICU with the newborn, leaving Neo alone at home.
Neo wasn’t ready for that kind of isolation. While the other two dogs in the family were content to spend time home alone or in the backyard, Neo was different. He waited by the front door, staring out the window, hoping for his family to come home. It was heartbreaking to see him there—watching as his loved ones rushed in and then back out of the house to return to the hospital.
With a heavy heart, the decision was made for Neo to join rescue, so he can find the loving home he so desperately needs.
Neo’s fur feels like velvet, and he is an extraordinary Bulldog—gentle, loyal, and full of love. It’s time for him to find a new family, one who can give him the attention and affection he deserves.
