I moved into my furever home yesterday. I met my new mom a week ago when I went to her house to check things out and visit awhile. All went well and she fell in love with me. I didn’t want to leave either. But Foster Mom and Dad said I didn’t have my things, so I couldn’t stay, but maybe we would return. Foster Mom packed some food, treats, my medicine and my paperwork and I was off to my new home. My new mom, Donna, was so excited to see me and I knew I was home. I want to thank everyone with Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue for saving me and for Dr. Larsen for making me healthy again.
Hugs, Oreo
Hey everyone it’s me Oreo. I am Snickers’ sister, but by a different mister. I am 2 years old. I tried to look really cute for the camera but I really don’t feel that well so faking a smile was hard. I have open pyometra, and for all you that don’t know what that is, I have a infection in my lady parts. Pyometra is a serious and life threatening infection that can lead to death if not treated aggressively. So, when Snickers asked me to leave with her I was happy to go so I could get on the road to recovery. Before I got so sick I was active and played a lot. I had what I thought was a friend that was a pig, but when I put my head in her pen she almost ate my ear off! So please no home for me with pigs, friendly or not. Wilbur cured me of wanting a pig friend. My neck and ear survived Wilbur so surviving pyometra should be a piece of cake. In the days ahead I will be sending pics of me feeling better, and when I feel great I am going to let Snickers sit in my lap. I love Snickers and she loves me. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers as I recover and find me a fabulous pig free family that will just love me!
