On Monday, my Secret Santa showed up and brought a possible new dad to visit. Today, they showed up again and now I’m celebrating Christmas early as an official new family member! I even inherited a big truck to ride in with my new best buddy and pops, Josh! Woohoo~ Merry Christmas, everyone!
Surrendering me to rescue was a tough decision for my family, but with all the changes in their lives, they felt I wasn’t getting the time and attention I deserve.
At just 4 years old, I’ve always been loved, but recently, I’ve developed some skin issues and started licking my feet. My family realized they couldn’t keep up with my medical needs, and it wouldn’t be fair for me to suffer.
I’ve been around kids and other dogs, and I’ve loved every moment! I did bark a bit in my crate yesterday because everything was new to me, but some treats helped me settle down. I definitely miss my familiar surroundings.
Soon, I’ll be neutered, all my medical needs will be taken care of and I’ll be ready to roll! I’m looking forward to being matched to my next family.
