Otis Owen ~ aka Cuervo Gold ~ had a meet and greet with his potential new fam, their son and fur babies. Needless to say, it was muy bueno! They couldn’t resist Mr. Cuervo, so he’s now changed his address to Houston, which is still a long way from the streets of Laredo….. I think that was a country song!
Bulldog friends my name is Otis Owen and I have joined rescue!
After a bit of traveling from down south I arrived with a few other fur friends headed to a new life. My Mom was displaced after a breakup, and she could no longer care for me. It was an emotional and sad day for me, but my Mom knew I did not want to be traveling around going from here to there in this Texas heat. So, here I am in rescue.
I am already neutered, and my skin and eyes look great. I am 3 years old, and I have never met a stranger. I walk great on a leash, and I love going on a walk.
I am excited at the opportunity to join rescue and meet my forever family soon. The lovely lady in the photo is Ms. Debra, she is a new foster and I am her 1st foster.
I can already tell we are going to be fast friends.
5/22/24 Update: I have a plethora of cats and my current foster boy is amazing with them! He doesn’t bat an eye at them. He is super sweet.
6/8/24 Update: Let me introduce myself, my name is Otis, I joined rescue from Laredo Texas. Kim and Jeff came and picked me up on Mother’s Day from miss Dianne at Pluckets, side note , if you have not been to Pluckets Nursery you need to run not walk! When I was leaving, I heard Miss Dianne say ”you are really going to really like this boy” and it is true! I am the best boy; I get along with everyone including those darn cats! and even miss Kim’s sisters Mini Aussie that they call the little coyote because he is so rambunctious.
The Laredo shelter thinks I am around 3yrs old, but I have an old soul. I would do well with other dogs or by myself because I really like my people! I do great in my crate., house broken and have no bad habits that I can see. I am a gentleman.
