Owen is now named Levi. He writes: I’m so excited that I just can’t stand it! I totally won over my new mom, pops, and my amazing fur sister. They fell in love with me the second they saw me. Well, now that I think about it…how could you not love this cuteness overload?
I have the best life! I love playing with my fur sister, Sissy. I’m obsessed with food, I have the comfiest bed and toys galore. There’s a cookie jar just for me and Sissy, and it’s loaded with yummy treats! Mom puts me in a wagon and takes me for walks. Life is good and I know I’ll live happily ever after.
Owen had his first medicated bath about 15 mins after he arrived and he really enjoyed getting clean.
Gage, the Frenchie and resident puppy sitter, hung out with Owen a bit, so he wouldn’t be scared. Owen made himself at home… a couple pee spots, four rounds of poop, lots of water and then he was howling and barking for his food, like the others. He will go visit Dr. Larsen on Wednesday and we have already discussed taking FortiFlora and drops/ointment for his eyes. Also, doc mentioned “diet” to reduce the fluffiness!
5/5/21 Update: My appointment with Dr. Larsen went great and I had a blast seeing Angelo and Lydia Nuggets. They were so happy to see me too.
I have been having fun at my foster home doing the five main things puppies do: eat, drink, sleep, pee and poop! I got to drink out of this “water fountain” thing and I also got meet another bully puppy, Grace. She is a little older than me and she just kept pushing and knocking me down. Foster mom warned her that I would get her back and I did! OK, gotta go. I’ve got puppy stuff to do.
5/10/21 Update: Foster boy Owen had a good week, playing with other dogs and cuddling with his foster momma.
