Pamela

Pamela was ADOPTED!!!! Sweet Pamela, now Bella Rose was adopted this evening!  She hit the jackpot with her new family including a fur sister, Sadie, a LSBCR alumnus herself. She also has gained 2 2-legged brothers that have dogs of their own and will make great playmates for her.  Bella will be a spoiled rotten princess with lots of love and attention, soft blankets and a comfy bed and probably everything under the sun that is pink and girly!  This gorgeous girls future holds lots of belly rubs and scratches and all the cuddling she can handle.  We will miss her dearly

Pamela joined rescue as an owner surrender. She will be going to the clinic for a check-up and to be spayed.  She will then join her new foster family and begin her search for the perfect forever home

10/4/2015 Update: We picked Miss Pamela up on Wednesday, and what a doll!  She was so quiet and ladylike the first couple of days, not making a fuss over anything.  Her personality is coming out and she is an absolute sweetheart. If Pamela could get closer to you than your lap, she absolutely would.  She loves being with her people and is learning all about couch time with foster Dad.  We haven’t had this baby for very long, but I would be shocked if her laid back nature changed in any way.  She has no food aggression, gets along wonderfully with her foster siblings,  easily goes into her crate and barks only when her foster brother does (dang squirrels).  Pamela is working diligently on her house training, with an accident or two, but she is getting the gist.  She is also learning to walk on a leash, but her walks are a house or two down and back, as she is still recovering from her spay surgery

10/11/2015 Update: Miss Pamela had another great week with us.  She has learned the lay of the bullieland and has stepped right in line with the others-naps, eat and more naps.  She has also become quite fond of all the Nylabones lying all around the house.  She just had her spay sutures out yesterday and she feels like a new bulldog.  She just loves to go on walks. maybe we should really call them strolls.  She is definitely in no hurry, just walking at her own pace and taking it all in.

Pamela still sticks very close to me, but is gaining confidence in herself and will choose to stay in her warm and comfy spot instead of following behind, room to room.  Pamela continues to work on her manners which includes house training.  Accidents have happened and a few even in her crate, but I am very confident she will master this and become just about the most perfect bulldog.
She would probably do best in a home with someone that is home during the day.  She hasn’t been kid-tested, but I think this playful girl would do well with kids as long as they weren’t too young and with dog experience.
Pamela deserves to have it all and any family would be lucky to have her to call their own.

11/1/2015 Update:  Adorable Pamela continues to be, well,  adorable and just the most precious girl.  She loves to be loved on and can not get enough snuggle time with anyone willing to give it. She loves all-dogs, men and women and is very submissive. She doesn’t have an aggressive bone in her body.  If you aren’t available to her for affection, she will spend some serious time playing and wrestling with her foster brother.  We are talking an hour before they will collapse from exhaustion.  It really is so much fun to watch.

House training is still coming along, but she does not like to go out in the rain, so there have been a few accidents.  She needs someone who will be patient with her on this, but she will get it.  She has such a beautiful soul that deserves the world.
11/8/2015 Update: Everyday is the best day with Pamela.  She works on her manners, she shows us more of her personality and the sweet quirks that makes a bulldog a bulldog.  If Pamela cant put a smile on your face, nothing can.  She has absolutely stolen our hearts and is the quintessential bulldog that has a little bit of lazy and a lot of lovely.
