10/25/26 AWESOME ADOPTION ALERT! Update from volunteer Tina: Being a rescue volunteer comes with challenges, worry and heartbreak. We pour so much love into these dogs, hoping each one will find a family who sees just how special they are.
Recently, I introduced Peaches Friday to the sweetest young couple. Brooke and Daniel were looking for their first dog as a married couple. This morning, they sent me this:
“Hi Tina! We have completely fallen in love with Peaches (if you couldn’t already tell…LOL). Peaches is the piece to our puzzle we never knew we were missing and we’re ready to adopt her.”
And just like that… all the hard moments felt worth it. 🥹
There is nothing quite like watching a dog you love become the missing piece in someone else’s family. Peaches Friday, you already have them wrapped around your little paw and I couldn’t be happier for you.
This is why we do it. Happy forever, sweet girl.

7/26/26 INTRODUCTION ~ Welcome Peaches Friday to our rescue family.
Just like her name, Peaches Friday is as sweet as a Georgia peach.
Peaches Friday loves everyone and everything. Kids? She adores them. Cats? They’re her friends. Other dogs? She’d love to play with them all. She has never met a stranger and believes everyone she meets is a potential best friend.
She especially loved her family, and they loved her just as deeply.
Unfortunately, there was one member of the household who didn’t share those feelings… a male Bullmastiff who saw Peaches Friday as his personal chew toy. For months, her family worked tirelessly to help the dogs coexist, hoping time and patience would create peace. Sadly, despite their best efforts, it became clear that Peaches Friday wasn’t safe.
With heavy hearts and tears that fell like rain, her family made the heartbreaking decision to ask Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue for help. Their love for her meant putting her safety first, even though saying goodbye was one of the hardest things they’ve ever done.
Peaches Friday has received outstanding veterinary care. She is spayed, microchipped, healthy and now ready to find her next family… in a home where every member of the household loves her as much as she loves them.
At just 3 years old and weighing 60 pounds, Peaches Friday has a lifetime of love to give. She’s affectionate, friendly and full of joy, and she’s guaranteed to steal the hearts of everyone she meets.
Could you be the next chapter in a story like Peaches Friday’s?
We’re always in need of more foster families throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area. Fostering saves lives by giving Bulldogs a safe place to land while they wait for their next homes. We cover the veterinary care and support; you provide the love, patience and a temporary place to call home.
If you’ve ever thought about fostering, now is the perfect time. Because every happily-ever-after begins with someone willing to say, “Come on in.” Message us to learn more.
8/24/26 UPDATE ~ From the foster momma: We’ve had Peaches Friday for about a month now and she’s doing great!
She hasn’t had a single accident in the house, loves hanging out with all of the resident pups and is clearly loving life in her foster home. And can we talk about how BEAUTIFUL she is?! That sweet, squishy face gets us every time.
Peaches Friday has even found herself a new favorite activity: racing Allie down the hallway when it’s dinner time! Apparently, dinner is serious business around here. 😂
She’s also wonderfully easygoing. When the house was being painted, Peaches Friday had absolutely no problem with all the painters coming and going. In fact, she took her job as supervisor very seriously!
Peaches Friday is great with kids and other dogs. We don’t have a cat, so we’re not sure how she feels about feline friends just yet.
And she’s a dream at bedtime! Peaches Friday sleeps through the night and doesn’t snore! (Bulldog people know what a gift that is! 😂)
Her only remaining medical need is entropion surgery, which is scheduled for this Wednesday. Once that’s behind her, she’ll be ready for her next family!
Other than that, Peaches Friday is pretty much perfect. She’s very chill, loves being wherever her people are, enjoys car rides and walks beautifully on a leash.
She’s sweet. She’s beautiful. She’s easygoing. She’s good with dogs and kids. She sleeps all night. She doesn’t snore. And she has a serious competitive streak when dinner is involved. 😂
What more could you ask for?
Stay tuned for an update after her surgery and keep your eye on this gorgeous girl. Her next family is going to be very lucky!
8/29/26 UPDATE ~From the foster momma: Peaches Friday had her entropion surgery this past Wednesday, and the doctor also removed some of the rope over her nose. She ended up with six areas of stitches, so she has quite a bit of healing to do!
When I picked her up late Wednesday, it was like helping that one friend home who’s had a few too many libations! She was tripping over the curb, walking into things, laying down in the car and completely passing out… with SO much drool! I also didn’t realize just how long that tongue of hers is!
Thankfully, she is doing great today! She’s eating well, getting plenty of rest and adjusting to her huge cone. The other pups aren’t quite sure what to make of it, but they’re giving her a wide berth as they walk around her. She still insists on snuggling up with Abbie, though.
You can’t really tell in the pictures that her eyes are open now, but they are! Her dark eyes and the dark fur around them make it a little difficult to see.
She’s healing, resting, eating and getting lots of love. And that’s exactly what our sweet Peaches needs right now.

9/20/26 UPDATE ~ From the foster momma: Peaches Friday had all of her stitches removed earlier this month and this girl was an absolute champ! She stood perfectly still while the vet removed stitches from six different areas around her eyes without a single fuss. Everything is healing beautifully.
As she feels better, more of Peaches Friday’s personality is coming out every day. She’s curious about everything her people are doing and, naturally, believes she should be helping.
She’s also perfectly content to hang out with the resident pups, and she loves joining in on conversations with the neighbor dog through the fence. She has quickly decided she’s part of the neighborhood watch.
Put on her harness and Peaches Friday heads straight for the back door because she knows it means one of two things: a walk or a car ride! Since it’s still far too hot for walks, she’s happily settling for car rides. She’s an excellent little traveler who enjoys watching the world go by through the windows. Or taking a nap and snoring her way to the destination. 😂
Peaches Friday has also slipped right into her foster family’s routines and bedtime schedule. In fact, she beats Allie to the bedroom and heads straight to the bed she picked out for herself when she arrived. Clearly, she knows what she likes.
Peaches Friday is easygoing, affectionate, loves people and has fit right in with the resident dogs. She’s proving to be a wonderfully easy girl who is ready to be someone’s very special companion.
We have a feeling the family who gets to call Peaches Friday theirs is going to feel incredibly lucky.
