5/10/26 AWESOME ADOPTION ALERT! From the foster momma: Poppy Louise’s journey has had a few twists and turns along the way, but today’s adoption truly feels like fate.
Lina and Loy had been patiently praying for the right Bulldog to welcome into their lives, and we have a feeling they absolutely hit the jackpot with this sweet girl.
From the moment Poppy Louise arrived in rescue, she captured hearts everywhere she went. She quickly became a favorite in her foster home with her charm, personality and lovable spirit.
While it’s always bittersweet to say goodbye to a dog who has been so adored, nothing compares to the joy of watching them begin the life they were meant to have.
Now Poppy Louise is headed off to a home where she will be loved endlessly, spoiled completely, and treasured every single day.
Happy trails, beautiful Poppy Louise! Your new family has been waiting for you all along.

3/13/26 INTRODUCTION ~ Please welcome Poppy Louise to our rescue family! She writes: I’ve one very cute Bulldog, if I do say so myself. I recently turned 3 years old and I’m ready to find a loving new family to call my own.
My previous family had some difficulties and could no longer care for me. So where’s the best place for me? Why rescue, of course! I’m now ready to get a fresh start.
My foster mom says I am the absolute sweetest girl! I even loved getting a bath and let her clean my ears and all my bulldog folds without a single fuss. I enjoy being outside, and after I go to the bathroom, I like to do a little “peel out” and kick up the grass. It’s my fun little victory dance!
I’m curious about being in the house and like to wander around checking things out. I also find comfort in my crate, where I relax and feel safe. I get along very well with my foster dog sister, and I’ve already taken quite a liking to my foster dad, too.
I’ve lived with small children before and loved them, and I’m friendly with other dogs. I’m also spayed and up-to-date on my vaccinations, so I’m all ready for my next home.
If you’re looking for a loving, calm, sweet and gentle Bulldog, I might be a perfect girl for you. All I need now is a family to call my own.

4/12/26 UPDATE ~ From the foster momma: Poppy Louise is as pretty as they come, with her beautiful coat and bright, shining eyes, but it’s her gentle spirit that truly makes her special.
At just 3 years old, Poppy Louise is one of the calmest, most easygoing Bulldogs we’ve ever had the pleasure of fostering. She isn’t much for toys or rough play. Her favorite place is right by your side, soaking up love and giving it right back.
Poppy Louise is incredibly gentle, especially around small children, and has a quiet, sweet nature that makes her an easy addition to a calm home. While she gets along with some dogs, she can be a bit selective and may do best as the only dog, where she can soak up all the love and attention (and honestly, she deserves it!).
She’s a champion cuddler who loves napping on the couch, snuggling close and giving soft, sweet kisses. She even sits calmly through her full Bulldog cleaning routine without a fuss and truly enjoys being brushed.
Poppy Louise has earned our complete trust in the home and currently enjoys free roam privileges… she’s just that good.
