Hooray!! Pork Chophouse has been adopted!!
I am not sure what I did to get dropped off at the shelter. They said I was blind and have dementia. But maybe they just didn’t want me anymore.
Luckily, I was there for only a couple of hours because I can assure you, I wasn’t a fan. When it came time for me to leave, I jumped right in the car. Rescue had to be better than that place, right?
I went on a road trip to see Dr Larsen and get to the bottom of my so-called “blindness.” Plus, I desperately needed my nails done ~ they were way too long.
Dr Larsen was so nice. She checked me out and gave me the news which I knew all along. I am not blind. I have dry eyes, and my eyes are really infected. She gave me some medicine to make them all better.
She also told me I’m about 5 years old, which is cool because I didn’t really know how old I was. Other than my eyes and a little alopecia, I’m good as new with the help I got from her.
I am now searching for my new family. I think I would do best in a home with calmer dogs because the foster sister here is way too hyper and gets on my nerves.
I know there is a family out there who will want me. How could they not? Just look at me! Oh, and did I tell you? I can sit and give you my paw when asked.
5/9/24 Update: Pork Chophouse loves to collect all the toys and protect them. He will share, if you ask nicely, and is happy to play tug or fetch.
He will affectionately tap you on the hand to ask you to pet him, and will keep tapping you until he’s content with your pets.
He is a smart dog, who is crate and house trained, and can sit and shake. He loves to be near his people, and would make the perfect addition to your family.
5/16/23 Update: This handsome boy LOVES to be with his humans. Over the last week, he started to be more comfortable in his surroundings and requested more attention. Of course, we all obliged.
7/5/24 Update: In my foster home, I love just relaxing for a few minutes outside, or on my favorite spot: the couch. I also like checking out what’s happening in the kitchen to see if I can grab a snack. I know there is someone out there that will love me! Are you that family?
