Queen Elizabeth was ADOPTED and is now living in Lubbock, Texas! Her new name is Queenie. She got a new mom, dad and a fur brother named Kane. Plus, there will be grandkids who will come over to play with her. I’m going to miss this girl, but I know she will be queen of the house. I’m so happy for you, Queenie!
I got lost … and I can’t find my family and they can’t find me.
At the end of August, I found my way to a construction site. I was hot, tired and hungry. It’s a miracle that a worker found me. He knew that, as a Bulldog, I had no business being outside in August and he put me in his truck with the air conditioner pumping. He shared his lunch and I stayed in the truck for the rest of the day.
Over the span of four weeks, I visited local shelters and my face was posted everywhere. I was a social media sensation, but still nothing. Not one person said I looked familiar.
The sweet family who has been keeping me told me every day that they bet someone would recognize me and I could go home. The days passed and I waited. And waited. I guess no one really was looking for me.
My new friend has a Pug and we became fast friends. My favorite thing to do was sit in my friend’s lap, but that’s the same lap the pug likes to sit in too. And the lap is only big enough for one. I knew it was time I packed my bags to joined rescue and find a family that needs a lap-sitter.
I named myself Queen Elizabeth. Everyone can call me Lizzie, I’m a young gal ~ maybe 2 or less ~ and I’m a small side. I weigh about 40 lbs, but a bit more on emotional eating days.
I am headed to sit in Dr. Larsen’s lap. She won’t make me share her lap with anyone else. It will just be me, Queen Elizabeth.
11/21/22 Update: Queen Elizabeth had a good night and slept all night in her kennel. She still needs work on pottying. She gets along great with the other dogs here. She eats well and is learning what the word “EAT” means. She’s a young, sweet girl and likes to go on walks. She weighs 44 pounds and is a healthy girl who needs a furever family. Maybe you can be her perfect match?
11/30/22 Update: She’s pretty much settled in here at the foster house. She gets along with the two dogs, but they won’t play with her and she wants to play!
She’s doing great on pottying outside and she eats well. She’s learned what “Eat,” “No,” “Stay” mean. I think she would do great with a family with kids, little or big. She likes attention, so belly scratches are a must. She is kennel trained – I only keep her in the kennel at night time. She loves toys and her Benebone.
She’s ready for her furever family. Maybe that’s yours?
