Quique has been adopted! A very sweet couple came to the event yesterday to meet him and they fell in love. This is their fourth adoption with Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue. Quique’s forever home will be full of cuddles and love. This adorable boy has hit the jackpot!

It has seriously been the saddest time in my life. A few months back, my mom died and this week, my dad died during surgery. Tom and Celia were my family from the moment I was born. Now that they’re gone, I have never felt so sad.

My name is Quique and most people call me “Key K.” I answer to Key K. In fact, I will run to you when you call me Key K.

I have been loved every day of my life. If you had known my dad, you would know, I was his favorite. He called me his little man and his best fella.

Another thing you need to know is that my family loved and believed in rescue. They supported rescue and believed in the mission. I always knew exactly where I would go if something happened to my parents. I would go to rescue and rescue would make sure that my family’s memory would never be forgotten.

I have an “owie” on my cheek. I had a drain in it, and it was better. But the drain came out and it’s big again. Dr. Larsen will be seeing me this week and she will let me know how she plans to fix it. It doesn’t really hurt; it just makes me look like I have a fat cheek.

Well, that’s really all I can think of to tell you about me. I was happy and loved, and one day, I will be happy again. Whoever adopts me is certainly going to love me. Who could not? I am that kind of fella!

3/22/22 Update:  I was sprung from the vet clinic just in time for spring! I left after a snip, tuck and some this-n-that. It’s felt great being able to be social. I’ve loved everyone I’ve met. Big and small. Plus everything with fur! Foster Mom says I’m too cute for my own good. Some of my highlights? I’m potty trained, walk great on a leash, and haven’t felt the need to taste the furniture or shoes. Oh, and I love, love, love to cuddle.
