Ramsey has been adopted! He went from the Gonzalez foster home to his forever Gonzales home. He has a new fur sister who is a bulldog named Penny. Congrats Ramsey, you are the sweetest and most gentle loving bully.
I found myself out and about and just wandering around. The weather was perfect. Before I knew it, a vehicle pulled up beside me and the driver asked me where I was going. I really didn’t know. Nothing looked familiar.
So, the nice fella gave me a ride to the shelter. I didn’t want to get settled there because I thought my family was missing me. With Easter coming, they surely had an Easter basket to give me.
But there I sat at the shelter, waiting and wondering why my family was taking so long. For several days, I waited. I was there longer than most because everyone kept saying, “I bet your family comes for you tomorrow!”
But no one came and I celebrated Easter with my new shelter friends. Finally, everyone just threw up their hands and said they were contacting rescue. They were certain rescue would want me. I held my breath because what if they didn’t?
Thankfully, that didn’t happen. The rescue wagon rolled in before the shelter opened and someone was tapping on the glass trying to get inside to pick me up! Finally someone wanted me.
I walked out with my head held high, ready to find a new family who will love me forever! The shelter friends gave me goodbye hugs and now I’m starting my new life. First, I am going to sit in Dr. Larsen’s lap so she can kiss me!
6/21/23 Update: Good Morning from Ramsey Ryan aka Ramsey the Great. From Foster Mom: I have been a little depressed because there are been no carpool for for 2 legged brother. However, last week he started day camp and I get to go on that car ride every morning.
I love walks and to sun bathe, my new favorite treat is ice because it keeps me cool. I literally get along with everyone I meet. I am also an amazing co-worker and everyone loves to see me on zoom meetings! Just living my best life until my furever family comes for me!
6/30/23 Update: Ramsey is definitely the star of his foster home! He really wanted to know where to find his Hollywood Walk of Fame star. He is the best lil man! He can’t wait to show his furever family how great he is.
