Reece Hope (Reecie Bear)

Reece Hope (Reecie Bear)

7/30/25 AWESOME ADOPTION ALERT!🚨It’s official. Reece Hope has sealed the deal, taken the man and permanently joined the household.

You may now call her Reecie Bear.

Because she didn’t just get adopted—she seduced her way into the family estate.

Let’s be clear: this wasn’t a foster fail.
It was a hostile lap takeover with benefits.
She arrived as a foster.
She stayed as a sister wife.
She secured the lap, the playlist, the bed… and the man.
Ty now sings original ballads titled “She’s My Bully.”
At one point, he told Tina he was going to buy a BabyBjörn… FOR THE DOG.

Reecie now reigns alongside:
🐾 Tessa – 12-year-old terrier mix princess
🐾 Koda – Labrador bomb dog
🐾 Charlotte – literal angel sent directly from heaven and Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue alumna
👨‍🎤 Ty – songwriter, snack-giver, and now legally hers
👑 Tina – woman, myth, legend, and survivor of one of the most intimate canine betrayals social media has ever witnessed

This is no longer a rescue story. It’s a cautionary tale.
And we all just watched it happen.
Congrats to the whole beautifully hijacked family.

Reecie Bear didn’t find a home. She took one.

INTRODUCTION: It was a Christmas Miracle for Reece when she landed in the shelter, and no one came looking for her. After all, whoever hacked her ears off must have done it themselves because they are tender to the touch and so badly infected, she can barely hold her head up.  For sure shelter life seemed a lot better for her than her last home.

Estimated to be 2 years old she is as sweet as they come.  Soulful eyes that look right thru you and beg you not to put her down. She rode silently in the SUV, laying her head in Ty’s lap begging him not to put her down.  After a warm bath, attention to her feet that she licks non-stop, she was ready to lay down in probably the first bed she has ever had.

Welcome Reece to the great life of rescue where you will be loved and cherished from this day forward, never to be neglected again.

5/1/25 Update:  This is Reece Hope…. 30 pounds of pure sugar, soul, and smooches.

Once discarded and broken, Reece Hope now spends her days glued to her humans, handing out kisses like it’s her full-time job. (And if Foster Dad had his way, it would be—he already sings songs to his “Reecie Bear” and almost had a meltdown leaving her at the vet.)

Her past left her with hacked-up ears and a heart full of hurt, but you’d never know it now. She’s the queen of lap naps, soft beds, and frozen yogurt runs. She’s even got a personal snuggle buddy at home to remind her that life from here on out is nothing but love.

Reece Hope’s heartworm treatment was delayed slightly (shoutout to her vet for finding a new allergy med that’s amazing!), but she’s picking right back up tomorrow.

From heartbreak to head kisses, Reecie Bear is proof: Some miracles are small, squishy, and covered in yogurt.

5/15/25 Update:  Things are going great with my foster family! My foster dad doesn’t go anywhere without me — I’m basically his tiny shadow. I even help him out by gathering his shoes and keeping them in a “safe” place (he doesn’t always appreciate my system, but I know it’s helpful).

I like soaking up some sunshine after a long, fun-filled day of playing with my foster brother, Koda. Don’t let my size fool you — I can keep up just fine!

And my sweet foster sister Charlotte (a Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue alumna herself!) absolutely adores me. We cuddle all the time, and she’s even teaching me the ropes on how to go potty outside like a pro.

Wish me luck — I start heartworm treatment next week. I’ve got this!

5/23/25 Update:  Still heartworm positive. Ear-chopped. Certified homewrecker.

She didn’t come here to heal. She came here to seduce.

She’s 30 pounds of calculated affection, expertly deployed to steal the man of the house—and she’s already won.

Ty sings to her now. She rides shotgun. She gives me the kind of side-eye that says, “Enjoy the couch crumbs, sweetheart. He’s mine now.”

Reece isn’t just recovering—she’s rebranding.

From rescue to rival. From neglected to mistress.

And I can’t even be mad. Girl’s got game.
