Rocky Marciano

Rocky Marciano

Great news for Rocky Marciano! His new family saw him and said, “He’s the one!” ~ even before meeting him.

Rocky’s new family is retired so he’s going to have people home with him nearly all of the time.

He now has several new beds in many rooms of his new home. He even has a bed to call his own in his second home, the RV.

His life of leisure will be lived out with many camping trips. He’ll be seeing the new world while leisurely traveling. Now someone just needs to tell him he can’t drive. Co-piloting, however, is allowed.

Congratulations, Rocky! We look forward to seeing you and your progress at future rescue events.

Rocky left home one day and started strolling around town.  And it was all good until animal control picked him up.

Even at the shelter he was happy.  Rocky was the happiest bulldog the shelter had ever seen. At first when the door opened, he jumped up thinking it was his family. Then the days turned into weeks and the weeks became almost a month of waiting for his family to find him. At the end of his stay, he barley lifted his head to see who was coming thru the door. Rocky had lost all hope of his family coming and that his family actually wanted him back.

Rocky is the best bulldog ever. When he sees you, all he wants to do is play with you. He might have some years on him, but he is solid gold, never met a stranger and wanted the resident cat to play with him here at work.

Rocky was loved once upon a time. His fur is soft, and he is clean. Someone chopped his ears off, but he had nothing to do with that. Rocky has a story to tell, I just wish I knew what it was.

He will make a perfect family member and has a lot of love to give.  “Grow old with me! The best is yet to be.” (Robert Browning)
