AWESOME ADOPTION ALERT… times two! Romeo Ryder is now named Chunk and Juliet is named Shade.
Famous last words of a fool: “I will not bring in any more bulldogs until I get the ones that are at the clinic out and into a foster home!” And then I get this.
There was this social media post that someone does not want their 2 bulldogs, age one, and will put them to sleep if they can’t find anyone that will take them. When did we become a nation that if something does not fit in, we must get rid of it that minute, or else it dies? Tina changed her day, moved some things around and drove to pick them up.
They can’t go to a boarding facility because there are no shot records. Bright Star is busting at the seams with bulldogs. So Tina called her vet, and the rest is history. They are there now.
Tina’s vet says they are both as sweet as sugar and a bonded pair. They walk perfect on a leash as long as they are together. If separated, they sit down and won’t move.
Rescue really is like trying to empty the ocean with a tea cup. Meet Romeo.
