Sweet six and half year old Rowdy is headed to Lavon to be a big brother to two two year old bulldogs adopted previously from Lone Star. The meet n greet went well and his new family is confident he will fit in well.
I’m going to miss him. My library, not so much. 😊 So absolutely delighted for all involved.
Three brothers, Rosco Adam, Rollie David and Rowdy Alan, joined our rescue yesterday at the tender age of 6.
Their arrival comes after a series of unfortunate events: a fire devastated their family’s business, followed by a motorcycle accident that left them in need of support.
Now, they have found a place where they can receive the medical and emotional care they desperately need.
Yesterday marked the beginning of a new chapter for these brave brothers. Stay tuned for more updates on their journey!
12/13/24 Update: Rowdy Alan settled into his foster home right away, making himself comfortable. After few days, he decided that the resident Bulldog, Archie, is his new best friend, and he’s made it his mission to wiggle his way into any spot where Archie is so he can snuggle up with him.
Rowdy Alan is a handsome, curious little guy who seems much younger than his 6 and a half years. He’s athletic and, like many Bulldogs I know, always interested in a good snack and a good snuggle.
While he could benefit from some manners training, his age has helped mellow out many of his more excitable behaviors. He’s relatively chill and easygoing.
All in all, Rowdy Alan has plenty of years left to enjoy and would fit in perfectly with any family looking for a loving companion.
