Roxie Lucille

Roxie Lucille

Today was the day that Roxie Lucille got to pack her bags and move to Houston!
Roxie met her new furever momma yesterday and decided she would really love to go live with her and get ALL the love and attention. She will be the only baby in the house and get super spoiled.
Roxie and her side tongue took a piece of her foster parents’ hearts with her to Houston.

My name is Roxie Lucille and my story is a little sad. The only mother I knew died a few months ago. Her grandson took me in. But he knew nothing about bulldogs and had other dogs of his own. So we decided it was best if I join rescue where people knew all about bulldogs and I could find a family who could love me for me.

I am six years old and have lost some weight recently. I have a few wrinkles where I didn’t used to have wrinkles. So I need to fill out a little more. I have some thinning and itchy spots on my skin. I have not seen a vet in a while, so I am off to meet Dr. Larsen and her staff to get all checked out and get ready for my foster debut.

I am a sweet older girl. I get along with other dogs and children. I am looking for a home where I can chill and be loved. How about your home?

2/11/21 Update:  Foster girl Roxie Lucille is sharing her tips on how to get through the cold weather:Step 1 – climb up on the couch

Step 2 – pull the couch cover down for extra warmth

Step 3 – flop over on your back

Step 4 – snore so loud that your foster parents have to turn up the tv.
