Roxie

Roxie

Please keep Roxie’s parents in your thoughts. She earned her angel wings. Her parents write: We lost little Roxie Sunday. We’re heartbroken, but relieved that she’s not in pain or suffering with cancer anymore. We gained more from her in the short 7 months that she was in our lives than she gained from us. From day one, she filled our hearts. We’ll never forget her sweet face and her beautiful brown eyes. She loved several things: sunbathing, ice cream, baths, frogs, car rides, treats, being scratched, and she loved us. We miss her. Here are just a few pictures that capture our beautiful Roxie.

3/23/16 Update:  Roxie has been adopted and off to her sweet, sweet loving family she goes! She’s gonna be living the country life. She just doesn’t know yet how excited she is… she is going to love it there! Her dad is taking off work for a whole week to spend time with her and make sure she feels at home. Her momma drove all the way to Dallas to get her – 6 hours one way! They have lots of lovin’ to give this sweet, little girl. Roxie is living the high life now. We are so happy for you, Roxie!

Please welcome Roxie to the Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue family. Roxie, 3-years-old, was surrendered to a local shelter. The shelter folks were kind enough to surgically remove the THREE POUND mammary tumor (we’ll spare you the pics) this afternoon. She’s now on her way to our vet to recover. Please keep her in your thoughts.

3/6/16 Update:  Foster girl Roxie is leaving the vet clinic for her foster home. She’s the girl that had a 3-pound mammary tumor removed at the shelter.

3/21/16 Update:  I’m smiling pretty for the camera! My name is Roxy and I am one sweet girl! I like to go on walks, eat 2-3 meals a day and I love snacks too. I really like to sunbathe and I love it when I get lovins’. Ever since I’ve had that 3 pond tumor removed, I feel like a brand new woman! My ears are still a little tender, but every day they feel better. I have a lot of catching up to do! I’m really excited… I heard I have a super sweet family coming to see if they wanna ADOPT me this week! I can’t wait, I can feel the love already!
