Roxy Hart had a meet-and-greet on Sunday and stole the heart of a very nice gentleman. He told Roxy she was perfect and he knew she was what he was missing. So on Tuesday, Roxy Hart packed her things, gave me big kisses and said goodbye. Roxy Hart has her forever dad to watch and help her blossom into the perfect rock star she was born to be!
My name is Roxy Hart and I am only 11 months old. But today I joined rescue. From what I have been told, I came for the same reason many others have joined recently. My family loved me dearly, but there were having some major financial and health issues and could not afford to take care of me too. They made the tough decision that hurt them, but was best for me.
You can see I have two really bad cherry eyes and one eye is swollen and scratched. So I need surgery on them right away. They are so bad it makes it very hard for me to see where I am going and I bump into things. I am well behaved, but I do still have lots of puppy energy. I am smaller than many (45 lbs.), and love to sit on your lap. I have loved all dogs and people I have met.
So I got to sit on Dr. Larsen’s lap today and she examined me from nose to tail. Other than my eyes and a needed spay, I am ready to go. So I am looking for a foster and a forever family looking for a young, well-behaved and beautiful girl. Could you be a match for me?
4/12/20 Update: Roxy made her way to Mays’ Manor just in time for a quick camping trip! She is so much fun and is all puppy! She loves all the fur kids.
