Ruckus

Ruckus

Ruckus found his forever home just in time for Halloween! We fell head over heels for this little guy, so it was a bittersweet day when he packed up his bags and headed to his awesome new home in Nacogdoches! He couldn’t have gone to a more perfect home. His new family has special hearts for rescues, and Ruckus knew they were extra special! He has a new mom, dad, brother, a basset hound sister and three cats to give him endless love. He immediately bonded with his new skin brother, Zach. Ruckus was so excited and didn’t hesitate “rolling over” multiple times to receive treats from Zach’s pocket! And to make his homecoming even more special, his new family let him sleep in their bed the first night he was home! Does it get any sweeter than that?

I may have seen more of Texas these past few days than some dogs do in their whole life. My family decided they could not afford my vet care for my bad ear infections. So they just let me out on the side of the road and wished me good luck to find someone who would take care of me and my ears.

Well, I am one lucky dog! This wonderful lady picked me up and took me home. She called her daughter who worked for a vet to come check me out. She called another daughter who lived in Dallas and asked her to find a Bulldog rescue that would take me and care for me. So this weekend, the daughter drove from Dallas to Texarkana to pick me up and bring me back to Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue. Like I said, I’ve done a lot of traveling to get where I am.

I am about 2 years old, super sweet and I get along with other dogs. I have already been neutered (don’t ask me to explain that!). I just need a few days to rest from the traveling and to get my ears all well. Then, I will be looking for a new home. And I don’t even care if it’s close to Dallas. I like being a traveling man!
