Russell was ADOPTED!!!! The sweetest couple from east Texas came up to meet their new addition and was love at first sight for all. Russell has gained a fur brother named, Butters and a cat, named Mikey. Reports are that he and his Dad have become big buds, following him everywhere. He’s going to be loved, spoiled and have a wonderful life, but I must admit, it was a little hard to let my “meatball” go.
Russell is a 3 yr. old male that weighs 67 lbs.
Russell joined LSBCR today. He is an owner surrender that was well taken care of. He will be making a quick stop at the clinic to get a check-up and neutered. Once that is completed he will join his foster family and begin his search for forever family. More details will be forthcoming as we discover his unique personality. (And by the looks of his initial pictures, this boy has a lot of personality).
7/25/2015 Update: We picked up Russell almost a week ago and we are already very smitten with this boy. He is 3 years old, stocky, and full of personality and playfulness, weighing in at 67lbs. All I can think of when I look at this bulldog boy is a meatball. He has such a beautiful brindle coat, the best squishy face with lots of wrinkles and huge feet! Russell’s lovable disposition is equal to his stature. He absolutely loves people, wanting to be with you no matter where you go in the house, hoping for a good, under the chin scratch. Russell does very well on a leash and in his crate, though he would much prefer to be on the couch with you at all times. House training is going great with just a couple of accidents. This is one sweet and happy bulldog, guaranteed to make you happy.
