“Check out the updated picture of Sadie! She looks great!”
Today my heart broke again, I met Sadie. And it was not a pretty sight!! Sadie was dumped on one of the busiest highways in Texas, left to die a horrible death. People still surprise me after all these years. How could anyone do this to one of God’s creatures? Sadie is micro chipped to a breeder that stopped breeding years ago and the telephone numbers are bad. Where Sadie should have hair is nothing but skin, where her feet should be beautiful are cuts and puncture wounds, her back bone has bite marks, her ears have holes, and I can count every rib. Sadie met me with a smile and a lick after all this. Someone breed Sadie to death and threw her away like trash. She was picked up by a wonderful lady that took her to her vet, cleaned her up, got her medication and did everything to help that she could and then she called rescue and now we are going to make the rest of her life a dream come true. Sadie has heartworms, of course. She walked into my home, met the bulldogs here and just started to clean their face like a good mother would do, Sadie showed no anger, no emotion, just love for me and the family even though someone did this to her and someone really should pay. Please help Sadie if you can by making a donation, big or little, Sadie doesn’t care. Sadie just really needs your prayers. She will not be available for adoption for some time but you can still put your application in if you are interested in giving this lost sole a home.
Can’t adopt me…..well how about becoming my “Sponsor”. Just click on the “Sponsor Me” button to help.
Since Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue is completely volunteer driven we are unable to respond to every application that is submitted. Therefore we will not contact you unless we feel we have a dog that will fit with your family.
