Sullivan was ADOPTED!!! This one was a hard one, Sully had my entire heart. Not much bigger than her pug brothers Rajah and Czar Sully found the peace she had not found at my house. Sully immediately started cleaning up the pugs, jumping around, and running thru Twyla’s home like she had lived their forever. The days of Sully cowering in the corner shaking, fearful to move are gone. Sully has found her home. And I could not be happier. A couple years ago when Twyla adopted Layla my foster I knew that we would always be friends. Twyla renamed Layla Birdie and they were the best of best friends. But Birdie’s life was not long at all and Twyla’s heart broke when Birdie crossed the Rainbow Bridge .
Sullivan joins rescue today. She is a tiny little package of bulldog love. She will be going to the clinic for a quick checkup and then on to her foster family. She will then start her search for her forever family.
11/8/2015 Update: Sully is like my smallest best friend ! At around 29-30lbs she is the cutest, sweetest, funniest bulldog I have ever had. Coming from a breeding program and never getting to actually be a puppy she is making up for it ! She has learned to run, walk on grass, almost come when called, throw a toy up in the air, and walk on leash. Sully trust is limited to about just me because I interact with her so much. Something as small as a dropped food bowl will sending her hiding under the bed for a hour. Sully and I take baby steps and each step is progress !
