Sundae has been adopted! Sundae has moved south to Leander and was up for the trip! Sundae has been nothing but a true pleasure to foster and love. Sundae loved EVERYONE and EVERYTHING. Wherever there was action, that is where you would find her, right in the middle, front and center looking for attention and to be petted. Sam and Jennifer were so excited to finally meet Sundae. Their dog Toby noticed Sundae, but he was just as excited to lay in the floor and let Sundae get all the love. Sundae is anywhere anyone is passing out a pet, a hug or a kiss. For a Bulldog who was dropped off at a fire station by her family, she has come a long way in a very short time. Sam and Jennifer are off work all summer and are anxious to get to know Sundae and to have Sundae get to know them. Much happiness to this sweet couple for choosing rescue and for loving this lady named Sundae!
Around 1999, The Baby Moses Project was started to give people a safe place to take their babies if they could no longer take care of them, no questions asked, so they would not be abandoned and end up in a dangerous situation. Today, rescue received our own Baby Moses ~ a beautiful 3-year-old Bulldog lady who was taken to a local fire station and abandoned. Bless Sundae’s heart ~ she thought she was going on a ride. All she wanted to do was climb up in the fire truck, like Sparky does, and be someone’s hero. Sundae’s mom told her she could no longer take care of her, but the fire station was a safe place. They would be good to her there. The firefighters did love her ~ they fed her, bathed her and took pictures with her, but they knew she was not going to love living at the fire house. Sundae enjoyed all the attention and she loved the firefighters, but Sundae wants a family, a sofa, some kids and some toys. And with that being said, Sundae is now part of our rescue family, another safe place, until she meets her furever family.
