7/28/25 AWESOME ADOPTION ALERT! Sweet Potato had no trouble at all finding her perfect family! As soon as Suzanne spoke with her foster mom, Joyce, she knew—Sweet Potato was the dog for them.

When they finally met, it was all smiles. Sweet Potato strolled right out the door like she’d always belonged, never looking back.

Suzanne later shared some adorable photos of Sweet Potato settling into her new home—a place where she instantly felt right at home, as if she’d lived there forever. Welcome home, Sweet Potato!

INTRODUCTION: Looking at Sweet Potato you can tell her life has been anything but sweet.

She has a certain sadness about her that is easy to see. She flinches when you try to touch her and she is underweight.

Sweet Potato was picked up by a local shelter and she was glad when no one came for her. Her estimated age is 2 and she is just sad. The only good thing that happened to Sweet Potato was she met another bulldog named Deuce and they became fast friends.

Sweet Potato and Deuce where eager to jump up in the rescue wagon on Tuesday to start their life over in rescue. Better days ahead for you Sweet Potato, for sure.
