6/28/2015 Update: Tater was ADOPTED!!! He found the perfect family and it was love at first sight for everyone. Congrats to the entire family.
Tater is a 8 yr. old male that weighs approximately 49lbs.
5/29/2015 Update: Tater is the definition of perfect. He is a bundle of happiness. He joins Lone Star Bulldog Rescue as an owner surrender through no fault of his own. He is current on all of his shots and is ready to move on to the next chapter of his live. Tater is looking for a family that will allow him to relax, chill and enjoy his retirement. Tater is joining his foster family this weekend so more information to come on his personality and likes/dislikes.
6/2/2015 Update:We love little Tater Tot!! He is such a goofy guy with the best personality!! We brought him home Saturday and he has been a total joy. He is completely housetrained and gets along perfectly with everyone in the house, INCLUDING THE CATS! We cannot say enough good things about this guy! Even though he is a little bit older, he is extremely healthy and only has to have a few drops put in his right eye in the morning. He is a saint on a leash and knows how to sit, stay, and come. Tater has been great with the neighborhood kiddos and we think he would even do well with younger kids because he is so patient and very well mannered. Tater still loves to play but knows when it is time to just relax on the couch. He is at that age where he has figured out that perfect balance J Tater is as tall as a normal bulldog but about half the length of a normal bulldog making him the cutest square package to have around! Any family would be very lucky to have this gentleman in their home. He would be especially great for a first time bulldog owner as he doesn’t have very many wrinkles to clean and is very healthy and well mannered. We can’t wait to see what the future has in store for this special boy!
6/10/2015 Update: Tater Tot has had a great week lounging on the patio. He loves to sit at the table and has perfect manners. He is a perfect house guest and such a loveable guy. Tater would do wonderfully in any environment as he is such a laid back bulldog. He is great with kids, cats and other gods. He would be perfect for a first time bulldog owner because he is so well behaved and has no health issues besides a little dry eye in his right eye (requires a few drops a day)
6/14/2015 Update:Tater is still loving life and enjoying the patio. He loves playing with my Shar Pei mix in the “Dog Room” and cuddling on the couch with my cats. He is such an easy, loveable, healthy boy. We know the right family is out there for this guy and he completely deserves to live out the rest of his life being pampered and getting his picture taken J But until that time comes, he is absolutely no trouble at our house. I mean, come on, who wouldn’t love that face?!
