Friends, it’s me Tiger and today was the best day of my life! Well, really, I have had some great days since I joined rescue.
First thing, when I joined rescue, I could barely breathe. It was a real struggle. My new family came and met me even before I had soft palate surgery and they loved me from the first time they saw me. Then I saw Dr. Lay and he said I was a great candidate for surgery, and he was going to give me a brand-new lease on life. And he was right. Today I can breathe and even though I am still taking it easy because of the surgery I know I can run when the time comes.
I have included a family picture of me with my new Dad and my new Mom, my skin brother and my skin sister and guest what? I even have a new Grandmother who lives with me now. I love my Grandmother and she told me she loves me too. I have a special blanket for the couch and my place is in the middle. That’s so people can sit on both sides of me.
My life is perfect, I have a fabulous family who makes sure I am a part of everything they do. I will send pictures from time to time, and I hope all the bulldogs in rescue find them a fabulous family soon too.
I joined rescue today in the pouring rain. I felt like it was the time to go. I had thought about it for a while. I was tired of being home alone and I missed my family. And I missed all our times together.
I am what is referred to as a “COVID Baby.” My family got me when everything was shut down and no one had anything else to do, but stay home. It was the happiest time of my life.
But then, things changed.
My family went back to work and the kids went back to school and unfortunately, all I did was wait for someone to get home.
And you know the rest.
Everyone was tired when they got home. They had after-school stuff to do and still, I waited for my time.
My time never came.
My family knew that my life should be filled with fun. They knew I needed someone who would love and play with me.
So here I am, Tiger Tuff. I’m 3 years and 5 months old.
I am going to see Dr. Larsen this week and after a little surgery, I will be looking for a family who has plenty of time for me.
