Dreams really do come true! One week, I joined a rescue and attended a benefit concert raising funds for Bulldogs. They told me I was the star of the show, and so many people were asking about me.
The very next week, a rescue volunteer picked me up from Bright Star Veterinary Clinic and told me that they had a couple in mind for me. Plus, the couple had specifically asked about me! The volunteer said we had a long journey ahead, but we had to make it in a short time. I told him, “Fire up that truck and let’s go!”
When we finally reached Puckett’s Nursery, he asked, “Are you ready?” I stepped out, confident, and said, “Step back—I got this!”
As soon as I walked through the door, I knew the Eddy family was meant to be mine. They have a perfect home for me, filled with love and fun. What a beautiful start to my new life!
Titus Ty has always known love. He was the adorable puppy who everyone wanted. But now, at 1 year and 10 months old, he’s starting a new life.
Someone in the family was leaving and moving back home, even though it was a family decision to move to the Dallas/Fort Worth area for a better opportunity to advance their career. They no longer were happy, so they packed up and just like that, were gone.
The family members who remained were heartbroken. Even if it hasn’t happened to you, please know that what you think will last forever can vanish in an instant. With two incomes reduced to one, the financial strain was overwhelming; bills remained the same, but money grew scarce. Priorities shifted, and adjustments were made, but deep down, Titus Ty sensed he was the one who needed a change.
His nails are long, his vaccinations overdue, and he’s struggling with a yeast infection. We also need to get him neutered. But we can already tell, he’s the sweetest Bulldog you could imagine.
Accustomed to a spacious home with a cozy sofa and kids to play with, Titus Ty knows this is merely a bump in the road. He believes in the power of rescue, knowing it’s a place where he can get the care he needs and eventually find a loving family, specially chosen just for him.
11/1/24 Update: Terrific Titus Ty just joined rescue and made quite an impression at our Rock for the Bulldogs event on Saturday! Here he is getting ready for his big debut. This gorgeous baby is just a year and a half and is already stealing hearts in rescue.
