We are excited to announce Miss Truffles has been adopted by her very own foster mom and pop. She has definitely hit the jackpot and will lack for nothing in her forever life.
Please welcome Truffles to our rescue family. She was apparently abandoned in the country, but thankfully, a good Samaritan brought her to our vet clinic. The woman who found her on Friday told us she went up and down the road to find the dog’s rightful owner. She ran into a man who said he saw someone dump her earlier that morning. Her teeth are worn down and she’s very congested. More importantly, if you look at her undercarriage, you’ll notice she needs surgery to remove a massive (about 7” by 4”) hernia. It’s amazing it didn’t fully rupture, considering it was dragging the ground. This sweet girl needs lots of prayers and healing thoughts, please.
3/30/21 Update: Hello everyone! I know everyone has been thinking about me a lot sending prayers my way, and donated so I could get all the medical care I needed. Well, look at me now? I had the hernia removed and was spayed last week and I got to go home with Dr. Larsen and she let me sit in her lap all weekend. Today I hitched a ride to the garden center to help out for a while. It was beautiful there. I stopped people in their tracks when they saw how beautiful I looked. Everyone wanted to touch me. I felt like a princess and I wished I had been wearing a crown. I just wanted to thank everyone who has been sending me love and prayers and to let them know I am doing wonderful and I am headed to my foster home for some R&R and before you know it, I will be updating everyone from my forever home. That’s right, I have found my forever home, and when the time is right, I will be sending those photo’s also! Love Everyone, Truffles
