12/11/25 AWESOME ADOPTON ALERT! From the foster momma: Sweet Vegas, now answering to her new name Sally, was adopted last week by a wonderful family with two little girls who absolutely adore her and shower her with nonstop hugs!
This precious family lost their four-legged baby last year and knew their hearts were ready to rescue a Bulldog. When they came to meet Vegas, it was truly love at first sight for everyone. Vegas curled up right next to her soon-to-be new mom on the sofa the whole visit, soaking in all the gentle pets and sweet snuggles from the girls.
On their drive home, they called Cristina to say exactly what we were all hoping: they wanted to officially adopt Vegas.
Their oldest daughter, who is about 3, lovingly renamed her Sally after a character from Cars. 💕🚗
This match couldn’t be more perfect. Sally will get to spend her days at home with her mom and the girls, enjoying attention, affection and all the love she deserves. ❤️
She’s a very special girl, and she will forever hold a place in my heart, too.

9/3/25 INTRODUCTION: Please welcome Vegas to our rescue family! At about 5 years old, Vegas found herself surrendered to a local shelter, and it’s clear she’s been through a lot.
She’s likely had puppies in the past, and both of her eyes are in rough shape. But even with her medical needs, her spirit is pure gold.
Vegas is as sweet as they come. She’s adored every person she’s met so far and wants nothing more than to be right by your side. She’s gentle, loving and already showing signs of being the perfect companion.
She’ll be visiting our vet this week to get the care she needs, and after that, she’ll begin the search for a family who will love her the way she’s always deserved. 💕

11/2/25 UPDATE ~ We’re working to match Vegas to the right family for her! From the foster momma: Our sweet girl Vegas is healing beautifully after her surgeries and feeling better every day! She’s such a quick learner, now sitting politely for pets instead of jumping up, and mastering her leash manners so her foster mom doesn’t get dragged along for the ride. 😉
Vegas and her buddy Chewy have become the best of pals, spending their days playing, snuggling and sharing snacks. And we’re so proud of her. She did amazing with all the trick-or-treating kids! 🎃👧🐾
Way to go, Vegas! You’re proving what a smart, loving girl you are.
